Reviews of Mobile Crisis
"I am a trained counselor and unfortunately had to go to mobile crisis about 9 years ago. The staff was professional and courteous. A patient isn't likely to come back to the site, unless they had an unpleasant stay. I saw a comment was that it's pointless and they just held you. Holding me for a short time saved my life. Dissociated and suicidal going in and felt supported and ;eft with resources I called and got further treatment. There was no judgement with the employees and in mental health thats a relief.. Doing very well today and again grateful we have this center, because many people don't. I was at a gas station were a woman ran in with an axe this week and i was able to sit with her calmly and mobile crisis picked her up. They are truly saints to do this work. The one I went to was Nashville, but the professional policies should be identical."
"Some of the most incompetent professionals I have ever had the misfortune of speaking with. The agency should be shut down, and every social worker ignorant or misguided enough to work for them should have their licenses pre-emptively revoked until they take a test proving they have an IQ > 100."
"Such a pointless place of service. One would literally have to be in the act of harming oneself in order to get theirs help. And even then they probably wouldn’t make it in time. Their service is not to help or prevent but pretend. Don’t waist your time. TN really needs a Casey Law where love ones can have their family members committed"
"I was taken here against my will being told I was going to talk to someone. Some lady talked to me for 5 minutes and then said the cops were coming to transfer me. I said okay and that was at 7 p.m. They held me in a room with a half couch until the next morning. I was awake and confused and kept asking what was going on. Finally I called the police because I felt I was being held against my will and they called the cops on ME and had them take me in hand cuffs to some random hospital which started and even more awful abusive experience. For God's sake, do not take your loved ones here. Almost anywhere would be a batter option. Hope this review helps."
"Worse people ever to call when you are really in a crisis. They just assume what they want to only have a real physician look at them like they are crazy and release you. They have repeatedly made my situation worse vs better on numerous occasions. I would follow thru with anything before I would ever trust calling them again and not to mention how they add on to a situation and give you a label that isn't what you are really dealing with. Avoid them at all costs. Find someone like the talk line before Mobile crisis."
