"It is unfortunate that I have to leave a bad review because I thought Dr. Rema Idriss was a wonderful eye doctor. She was very warm, kind, and thorough. However, this office charged me $640 for a set of contacts that should have been half that cost when I looked online. I felt pressured into purchasing them on the spot and they told me they would give me a $200 rebate, but didn't mention that it was "up to" $200 and the contacts I needed didn't qualify. They also said they took my insurance (Medicaid) then charged me the full cost of the exam. I called them later the same day to cancel the order and they said they couldn't cancel it until after 5pm because they were too busy helping customers. I called back after 5 and they said it was too late to cancel because they had already placed the order. This is ridiculous and horrible customer service so unfortunately I will not be returning and I'm very disappointed."

"I went to eye town vision center last year and spent a pretty penny an my glasses. It’s a year later and the film on my lenses is coming off. I recently made another appointment with them (just so I could get my prescription not glasses). When I arrived the lady informed me that they could not submit my claim to my insurance company and that I would have to do that myself. I was extremely confused, I have never and I mean never heard of having to submit my own claim. If they didn’t know how to do that then they should have called the insurance company to figure it out. I did not have this issue last year when I went for my eye exam. Very disappointed as it was a waist of my time and they could have called ahead and told me this. It’s not the patient’s responsibility to submit claims."

"Have been a patient with them since they opened and they have always been really helpful. Pia, who works at the front, is always very helpful and is very patient. Always takes care of my questions and concerns and gives me several options. Just got my recent exam done and waiting on new glasses to come in. Will continue see with for my vision."

"Today I had a routine eye care visit for a contacts and glasses prescription. Dr Nguyen and the receptionist were fantastic! They were very personable and professional, and took time to both inform me, and to listen and answer any questions I had. In order to give their patients a good comprehensive eye exam, they do add the expense of a digital imaging of your inner eyes health. In previous reviews, some people did not like that because their insurance did not cover it. But, in the past, I did not like having my eyes physically dilated, having to wear thick sunglasses, and then having to depend on someone to drive me home from my annual eye exam. So, for me personally, I would rather pay for the more advanced digital eye screening. Overall, I would highly recommend this practice."
