"I have been with Dr Bekker for a few years now and she has been a blessing!"
"Here are my last two emails with the doctor. Should pretty clearly detail how I feel her practice operates… “Excuse me. You could have stopped at “I apologize” and that would have been good… You can’t just type out that you were not being condescending to me or that you did not give me the runaround and have that be the truth, because you did. Both of those things happened. Now you are gaslighting me and at this point this exchange has become extremely triggering. It’s deeply upsetting. I asked you explicitly to stop and you persist to harass me. Dr. Bekker, can you please step in and get him to stop? (I honestly can’t believe I’m typing this or that any of this is happening) How, in the world, can you cite our 5 year working relationship and then go on to explain how you thought I might be confused about your relationship with the pharmacist and what your job is?? You continue to make your problematic behavior and choices about something that I am doing wrong and I am your mental patient! I will not stand for this!! I kinda stopped reading and I’m certainly not going to respond to everything (I think you’ve written way, way too much), but suffice it to say, I absolutely do not care if my critique of your job performance and the way I feel mistreated by you, to the doctor, has made you feel uncomfortable. I was attempting to message the doctor and your continued interruption is unwelcome and disruptive. I have had private communications with the doctor at this email address in the past, at her behest. Why is this thread different?? I addressed the original email to Dr. Bekker. What are you even doing here? Is there a different email I should use to communicate directly with her? It is my comfort, sir, that should be paramount to your office and whereas I agree that things were totally fine until December, you began playing doctor and taking it upon yourself to address your projection of what my mood was at the time, on to me in a way I deem to be inappropriate… Kindly, get out of my face and stay in your lane. Would you please leave the matter of my mood to the professionals and allow me to address this further with my doctor? My doctor. Your employer. This is my last time asking you to disengage from this thread and that you please forward this whole thing to Dr. Bekker, immediately. I am clearly upset and now I believe I am actively being bullied by my mental health care provider. How should that make a person feel? Sincerely,” And then, after she dropped me as a patient… “This is terrible. You have some nerve to sign off “with respect,” when this decision is overtly disrespectful to me. I do not feel respected by you. I feel abused. I was attempting to address a concern with you. How is it appropriate for someone else to respond at all? Let alone twice? Since my concerns pertain to your employee and that employee chose to read your email and now feels uncomfortable, you are dropping me as a client?? How is that even possible?! I have done nothing wrong! I spoke up for myself when I felt as though I was being mistreated and if there is anyone who should know how much work it’s taken me to get to a place where that’s possible, it should be you. Closing my chart formalizes your collective invalidation of my feeling mistreated by you and your harassment of me. This is honestly unbelievable. You two are a disgrace to your profession and ought to be ashamed of yourselves. I have been discriminated against and bullied as a patient in your practice, by you, the people who I engaged to care for me, in a specific situation where I reached out directly to you for help. I am legitimately in shock. Dr. Bekker, you have flatly taken the side of my abuser and I find that decision to be absolutely reprehensible. With vitriol and disgust,”"
"Dr. Yana Beker listened to my concerns clarified some of my fears . Did a great job of explaining my options as far as treatment . She took a slow approach when easing me onto my medication which I appreciated and checks in with me monthly to make sure everything is going well . She is very compassionate and seems to care about the well-being of her patients. I would definitely recommend her !"
"I have been seeing Dr. Bekker for over a year now. She has amazing bedside manner and is always on time for our appointments. She takes the time to listen and answer questions and always makes great suggestions. Glad to have found a Doctor like her."
"Dr. Bekker is an absolute gem. I’ve been with her for almost two years and have found her extremely helpful personally, and a fantastic caregiver professionally. Very knowledgeable and holistic in her approach. Her office is run very well and appointments are a breeze to schedule and keep up with, thanks to office staff Alexus and Eugene."
