"I would love to give the lab technicians 5 stars for their kindness and great job doing medical things, but unfortunately they did not actually follow my doctors orders. Instead of doing the single panel test she asked for, they did 7 individual tests and I was charged a couple THOUSAND dollars. Insurance picked up most of the bill but I was still left with over $500 to pay out of pocket. When I repeatedly tried to get the situation fixed, I was kicked around to different departments before finally getting an INTERNAL review of the orders. The lab of course said they did things right but we did get double charged for one lab. They took that off and I was threatened with collections if I didnt pay- even though they did tests my doctor did not order! Now, months later, I got ANOTHER bill, where they recharged me for the double billed lab that I already paid. And the bill said because it was so late it was already about to be sent to collections. So I paid it. Never using this lab again. They dont do what the doctor ordered and dont fix their errors - just make the patient pay for it."
