"Updates (below). I am a former KED donor. I called the ADMA Conyers location which told me I did not need to wait a week before donating. Drove over and Portia was rude and said their policy was a week from last donation. So I drove over to ADMA Kennesaw and everyone was a gem - Susan, Charlie, Diana... All super efficient & positive attitude.... Took off 1star for closing on Mondays and another for the longer wait times. I don't understand why they are closing one day a week when everyone on the staff told me they are always super busy... Chairs in comfy. Wi-Fi restricts access to Twitter for some reason. Update: I arrived at 6:30 am. I was 8th in line. I wasn't screened until 7:45. (Bc of 2 barcode scanners, some people behind me got scanned first) There are 11 people in the waiting room ahead of me to get stuck now. It is 8:15. There are 2 people screening. There are 24 people who have scanned and are waiting. Everyone is polite but I am hearing from other people that this is a matter of staffing and it has been a long-term issue. I am now in the chair and there are 3 management sorts joking about coffee and badges. It would seem like mgmt would try to help staff to move people along. It's been 7mins (so far) that they have been bantering. At other centers, that's when mgmt gets on the floor to help instead of impeding traffic of people walking. As I am typing this, one bald man is still standing around. Update2: Arrived at 6am. Ugh. Already 6ppl in line. Staff seemed to be moving faster today. No one standing around chatting. Was out by 8:30 am this time. Clearly they don't value the donors or their staff."
"Previously coming from another competing plasma center I LOVED this center. The staff were and still are wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable that’s the only reason I’ve given any stars. However, as of the last month and a half the experience here has taken a nosedive , so much so that I am considering going back to the center I was going to previously. Wait times from my previous experiences have more than tripled and it is no longer cost effective for me to come twice a week as I have been. As an AB negative donor I always felt it was important to donate but at this point I may have to look elsewhere. Both days this week there have been 25+ in the queue just to be screened and they slowed screening as a result of there not being enough phlebotomists available for the donating portion . Very clearly being run poorly at an upper management level, the workers on the floor still seem to be great, just not being staffed properly."
"Horrible facility! They never answer the phones. They are understaffed so wait times are crazy. I’ve been calling this center for two weeks now to ask a question and no one picks up the phone at all. Any other donation center outside of ADMA will answer the phone. Management must be horrible since no one wants to do their job at this place. Just try and call them and hear the phone ring for eternity! And it continues they are still horrible and extremely understaffed. Who runs a business like this. They are keeping you locked outside in this 90 degree Georgia heat and not allowing you to use the bathroom or get water. It’s time to complain to the BBB!"
"I come here today and see a whole line outside in the hot sun. They are only allowing 6 people in the building at a time IN general due to staffing . At the point , shut down the center for the day instead of letting people suffer in the hot sun. This is ridiculous and out of protocol"
