"This was definitely one of the best visit I’ve had at My Eye Dr. Everyone was so nice, the inside was nice and clean. Ruben was the best salesman with the best customer service a customer could ask for. He took his time and explained everything to my daughter (her 1st time at My Eye Dr.) he laughed and engaged in conversation with us and really made us feel comfortable with our purchase. "The receptionist/MA & doctor were all great. When it came time to pick out my glasses, I had a terrible experience. The rep April seen me looking at name brand glasses & approached me to pick glasses that my insurance would cover - which are the cheaper lenses. I honestly felt racially profiled. I still picked my Tory Burch lenses I did want. At the time of payment I was not told about any additional fees or anything except how much was due. Already being frustrated & with the eye drops that make your vision blurry, I paid whatever was due at the time. Two weeks past I still did not hear from the office. Filed a complaint & the office manager stated “this is not like April”. Three weeks later I get a call in regard to billing, which was done wrong - asking for more money. Four weeks later I had to file another complaint & request a refund because no updates on my glasses. No call, nothing. I get a refund & it’s not even for the whole purchase. If you are in need of glasses, like I was. Please do not waste your time & go here. Your insurance will be charged & You will pay over $400 like I did & never get your glasses."

"Made an appointment online and filed the correct paperwork beforehand. I waited almost an hour to be seen. When I got home the contact prescription was way too strong for my eyes. I had to make an appointment at another location to be seen again. They gave me glasses and contacts under my insurance, now at a different location(Lakeland) they can’t locate my insurance information. I was hung up on while on the phone by Rachel trying to figure this out. I am not pleased with this business, their customer service sucks."

"I had a wonderful experience yesterday choosing new glasses! Reuben assisted me through the entire process and was extremely pleasurable, kind and patient. I am partially blind in one eye, but he worked with me to evaluate and thoroughly explain my particular options and needs to ensure the best outcome. Although it was extremely close to closing time, Reuben did not rush me or the process at all. He took his time to do an outstanding, thorough job while keeping my budget in mind. I really appreciated that also!! I would give 6+ stars if I could. I highly recommend using My Eye Doctor. ❤️"
