"Extremely Disappointing Experience at Dr. Daniel Hay’s Office I recently had the unfortunate experience of visiting Dr. Daniel Hay’s office, and I must say that while he may be an attentive doctor, the overall level of disrespect and unprofessionalism at this establishment left me deeply disappointed. One of the most egregious issues I encountered was the excessive waiting time. Despite having a scheduled appointment, I found myself waiting for an astonishing 2 to 3 hours on multiple occasions. This kind of disregard for a patient’s time is unacceptable and indicative of a lack of respect for their well-being. Furthermore, the administration and reception team members displayed a shocking level of unprofessionalism. Firstly, as a patient, I understand that doctors have a heavy workload and may sometimes run behind schedule. However, it is the responsibility of the office manager to effectively manage appointments and minimize waiting times. In this case, it seems that the office manager did not take the necessary steps to address the issue or communicate any delays to patients. Secondly, the extreme waiting time raises concerns about the overall efficiency and organization of the doctor’s office. It is essential for a healthcare facility to prioritize patient satisfaction and ensure a smooth patient experience. Prolonged waiting times can cause frustration, anxiety, and discomfort for patients, and it reflects poorly on the quality of care provided. Furthermore, the lack of communication regarding the delay is another aspect that disappointed me. Patients should be notified in advance if there are any changes or delays in their appointment time. This allows us to properly plan our schedules and manage our time effectively. By failing to communicate this important information, the office manager disregarded the needs and expectations of the patients. Overall, my dissatisfaction with the doctor’s office manager stems from the inadequate management of the extreme waiting time, lack of communication, and the apparent disregard for patient satisfaction. It is my hope that the office takes the necessary steps to rectify these issues and provide a more efficient and patient-centered experience in the future."

"Last update: front office has changed entirely and Dr. Hay has not only shown that he’s diligently trying to change this but he saved my husbands life last night after seeing him for a last minute consult! What could have been a nightmare was a save… he saw us and sent us over to the ER immediately. What warms my heart is that his compassion showed even more the next day when he followed up with us to check if he’s ok! SOOOO happy that we get to continue to be treated by one of the most attentive and caring doctors I have met. Thank you Dr. Hay!!! Update: it is with unfortunate news that I am here to change my review. Though Dr. Daniel Hay continues to be a great physician, his staff is AWFUL. My husband and I can never get ahold of them, ordering prescription refills is always a hassle, they order us around like we are children, and the wait time when you have to drive to the office since they don’t answer their phones is extremely long. This is the first physician office in my life that I see a staff that treats you in such a degrading manner. I was willing to look past the wait time on seeing the doctor, but with time the staff only got worse. Unfortunately, for someone with a busy schedule, this will not work for us any longer. It’s so hard to find a great physician, and when you do, the office staff finds a way for us to have to leave. Very sad that we won’t be seeing Dr. Daniel Hay any longer. Old review: Amazing, detailed doctor that actually cares about you! I see complaints about waiting so much to get seen… and what people seem to forget is that nowadays in the healthcare system, we are only numbers, where doctors speed up their time with you to see more patients, and you don’t even feel like they actually care about you…. Dr. Hay does, and if you just want a typical doctor that will speed up the process to see his next patient, Dr. Hay isn’t for you."

The office itself is undergoing some renovations, but even in its current state, it exudes a sense of comfort and tranquility. Dr. Daniel is truly a fantastic individual. Not only is he an excellent physician, but he also goes above and beyond to ensure his patients feel welcomed and cared for. What struck me the most was his dedication to learning Portuguese to better communicate with the Brazilian community. It's clear that he values effective communication and wants to make sure everyone feels understood and comfortable. During my consultation, Dr. Daniel was attentive, knowledgeable, and approachable. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. It's evident that he genuinely cares about his patients' well-being, and that level of dedication is truly commendable. Overall, I highly recommend Dr. Daniel's medical office. The pleasant atmosphere, coupled with Dr. Daniel's exceptional care and dedication, make it a top-notch healthcare facility. I look forward to seeing the final result of the office remodel, as I'm sure it will only enhance the already wonderful experience."

"He is an extremely professional and attentive doctor, in addition he is very prepared and intelligent and explains every detail of everything he is doing. That's why sometimes the wait is a little longer, because he doesn't do a bad job to get a quick appointment. He works with quality. He does what he needs to do as a good professional. "Dr Daniel is an excellent professional, we had changed our insurance just to be able to receive care from him, however the employees are arrogant, one of them even hung up on me when asking to cancel an appointment. I'm changing Primary Dr because of the attendants who have no respect for patients, it's impossible to get in touch by phone or email, to get our last appointment and median refill we have to go to the office."
