"Dr. Mark Stankewicz & his entire team are extraordinary & exemplary in cardio care. My life was transformed with him being my heart doctor. He is very thorough & does an excellent job. The heart clinic at St. Thomas West at Harding has an exemplary team of outstanding women (Heather, Donna, Jeanette & Dana) who monitors my INR daily twice a week. They insure & oversee the lives of all patients extended over a period of time for years or treating a blood clot for 3-6 months for every patient assigned under their care for regulation of INR by their heart doctor while you take warfarin to safeguard patients from bleeding in your organs or brain. This extraordinary team watches for side effects, drug interactions & diet which can affect your warfarin levels in all patients. I highly recommend Dr. Mark Stankewicz & the INR nurses who work so diligently to maintain hundreds of patients who have been diagnosed with blood clot issues,heart valve problems, etc. This INR team maintains and monitors your INR levels over an extended period of time or for years while being treated for a blood clot for 3 to 6 months an irregular heartbeat, recurrent blood clots or some heart valve problems; whereby, a patient has to take warfarin indefinitely. This heart Doctor & his assistant, Vicky & his INR team of nurses ensure & monitor the safety of each patient's life as they are prescribed warfarin or any other blood thinner. Ms. Donna does an excellent job setting up your INR monitor for each patient if you are monitored by Acelis via Medicare. This monitoring by Acelis saves me each week from a trip to Nashville for an INR reading. Dr. Mark Stankewicz has me to report to my local hospital for an INR test one day a week & test the 2nd time with my INR monitor at home. Heather, Donna, Jeanette or Dana follows up as soon as they receive the reading of my INR reading via hospital or monitor. It is no telling how many lives this doctor and team have saved from monitoring warfarin in every patient, to keep them from having bleeding issues or protecting patients who have atrial fibrillation to keep them from having cranial bleeding which is a major cause of disability and death. "I have spent the better part of two mornings trying to pay my bill. None of the links sent by text to my phone work. When I called to update the credit card I have on file, they were unable to change or store the new info. Another number I was directed to, put me on hold, then hung up on me. My attempt this morning led to being on hold so long I hung up. I will wait until this bill goes to collection. At least they will make payment possible. Billing for this outfit is confused, poorly organized mess."

"Got there at 1 for a 1:15 appointment. Lady checked us in and told us to sit down. Waited until 1:40 and then had to check what was taking so long and she didn’t check us into the computer. Doctor offices already are historically long waits and we can never get that time back. Pretty silly to miss clicking a button because you’re too busy talking about make up."
