"First time here with an out of town friend who had been here about 4 years ago Was very pleasantly surprised. Food was tasty and well portioned with adequate vegetables - the spicy Thai green curry One order had salmon as the added protein. The other order had grilled tofu as the added protein. Our friend orders the hummus. Very enjoyable. A definite re-do should we be in this part of dallas"

"As a wellness coach, I have high standards for healthy food. Flower child does serve a higher quality of food than many restaurants in Dallas. However, their food combinations are overly complicated to be considered health food. That being said many different taste buds can be happily pleased with their food choices at flower child. Would be great to see some steamed vegetables on the menu without five different sauces on them! The atmosphere is cozy and artsy which I love. The service varies some days they are all very attentive and other days they are a bit slow."

"Not exactly my cup of tea. Small, overpriced portions of food. To be fair the quality of the food is pretty good. I would recommend getting the broccoli side with your entree if you do eat here. 3 stars, not the worst place to end up but wouldn’t be the first place I would recommend to someone."

"I ordered Mediterranean Chicken Kebab. It was tasty and delicious, but the food portion was disappointing. As I observed, it seems to be the standard portion for all servings. So if you’re too hungry, it’s not a good place to eat. I should also mention that the food quality was great. Their menu includes lots vegetarian choices which seemed interesting to me."

"Flower Child is the place to go for a healthy quick meal. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to you quickly. There are so many things I want to try, but always stick to the broccoli and mac and cheese because it is so good. The broccoli is cooked with a tangy lemon sauce, and the mac and cheese is creamy, cheesy goodness. The salmon and shrimp were not dry and seasoned well. For the price, I do wish the portions were larger, but smaller portions are probably part of being healthier."
