"While everyone at the Monroe office was extremely nice, the communication with CNY is highly lacking- especially when it comes to such time sensitive medical care. This journey is already difficult and stressful enough, without the added troubles of getting in touch with your medical team. I was scheduled to have a basic procedure done prior to starting IVF.. it was a SIS. They were supposed to call in antibiotics prior to that and never did. I had to reach out to the after hour nurses line to get that done. The nurse I talked to was very nice so I just pushed that as a one off. My experience in the Monroe office was good. I don’t have any complaints. The staff was nice and the office was comfy and clean. They did find someone on my SIS that I needed a surgical consult for, so I scheduled that when I checked out. It was over a month wait, putting my fertility treatments on yet another hold. While I was there they told me to make sure I got my bloodwork done… it had been done two weeks prior to my visit so I’m unsure why they didn’t have it… When I got home I uploaded it into my portal. When I messaged them about it, they said they did not have it. I stated it was uploaded and never heard back from them. Second red flag. It was like they were just done with my care until that consult. I have YET to hear back… over a month later. Also, another red flag was trying to communicate with financial. I had reached out to them multiple times in regard to my progyny coverage. *they do claim to accept progyny, and have it displayed in the Monroe office* . Ghost silence. No response. I found out through my progyny representative that they only cover the NY offices, NOT Atlanta (Monroe) or Sarasota FL (where we would have to travel for IVF). I had a second opinion scheduled with a different location that DOES accept progyny. I had my consult, labs, ultrasound, and my IVF plan set up all in what it took to get into a “surgical consult”with CNY, because the procedure that I need, can be done at the same time as to not postpone my treatment. And there also is not the communication issues. I wanted CNY to work out, but unfortunately they did not. The added stress of just simple communication on top of a very difficult and emotion journey is a major red flag. Just because they advertise as being more financially achievable, doesn’t mean they have to use this to draw in women that are already struggling.. just to make it so difficult."
"I was told it was going to be $50 for a consult with the dr was charged $50 at time of booking and then after the virtual appointment they sent me another bill for $50. That should have been explained upfront."
"I love this clinic, the patient care, the doctors, the nurses and care for each patients treatment, but those who answer the phone to direct calls need a better attitude specifically Syracuse. This process is stressful enough. Please make it easier for us, not harder."
