His extensive training includes an internal medicine internship at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and both a residency in Internal Medicine and a Gastroenterology fellowship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego. Additionally, Dr. Dobhan completed specialized training in ERCP at the University of California, San Diego.
With a rich history of military service, Dr. Dobhan has specialized training in Combat Casualty Care and Flight Surgery. In 2005, he was elected to Fellowship in The American College of Physicians (A.C.P.), a testament to his commitment to excellence in the field of medicine. Before starting his private practice in Pensacola in August 2015, Dr. Dobhan served as the Division Head of Gastroenterology at the Naval Hospital in Pensacola for a decade.

"The P.A under doctor Dobbin has no care for patient feelings or HIPPA laws. Lobby full of patients and he chose to yall my family members medicine across the place to another individual and her name, not once, but TWICE. So now, everyone in the lobby knows what medicine my family member is on and that was something she was not even disclosing to family at this time… He outta be ashamed of himself. He’s rude and makes his patience feel less than worthless. When a patient asks for their medical records to send to their primary doctor, you provide them, not get angry for the request. I will follow up to ensure this PA is held accountable for his disgusting actions."
"Dr. Dobhan is amazing, he explains things very clearly not leaving those big words that you have to look up when you get home. He’s very kind and considerate to your feelings as well as make sure that he can find a resolution to any problem that you bring to him. Isn’t her office is so friendly I have been going to him now for several years and I have never had a bad experience with his office, Or with him. He has performed several procedures and as soon as I wake up he is there to explain to me what he found so there’s no waiting for results you know immediately.
