I had a family member there after serving 4 years, and this place needs to be SHUT DOWN AND INVESTIGATED. The staff is rude, the director is delusional, and when reported to Montgomery is the same silly song and dance."
"This is the worst place in the world! They go out of their way to hinder you. It is not a halfway house, they care nothing about you, helping you, or your life. They don't care if they cause you to lose a good job. I've been in prisons better than that place! It needs to be shut down! How it's still operational is BEYOND me! If you or your loved one is going to be going there, I would advise to try to get sent to Hattiesburg or Montgomery, if it's between going to this halfway house for 3 months or finishing sentence in prison, I would finish my sentence in prison, I went 4 years without a write up in prison. And got 41 days good time taken from me within a month of being there! Stay away! Horrible!"
"The Director and staff work extremely hard to be fair under the circumstances and conditions the job requires. We all know that by following the rules, they may never get the popularity vote, however sometimes one bad apple can leave some people with a sour outlook on others. The experience you receive there is all based on YOU making the best out of the situation. Also understand you don't want to like it there.. otherwise you may want to return and that's what they want you to avoid doing. I'm truly sorry if anyone had a bad experience.. But I do believe it was better than the alternative."
