"Here are some tips for the CSR folks/scheduling at Southern Eye Group. Have a note pad handy when you answer the phone, write down the callers name and DOB. When you ask someone their name three times, ìts evident that you are not listening to them. Instead of arguing that you sent over paperwork, just say, "do you mind holding while I follow up, or may I call you back?" Then do what you commit to do. I worked as a CSR for Blue Cross Blue Shield of MI and I never told someone, "I don't know." It was always, "let's look into this and get it taken care of for you." I always kept my promise to my member. This is the 3rd time I reached out to Southern Eye Group since April 12th and it's the first time, my call was returned. If you waited 49 days to return a call during your employment at BCBS of MI, you would be terminated. That is total neglect and not caring. When you are in any part of the Healthcare industry your are dealing with the quality of people's lives and often times the quantity. Get it together Southern Eye Group!"

"My experience was very unpleasant. After a 45 minute wait a polite staff member took me back for my eye exam. They never stated their credentials. For 50 minutes they were unable to adjust the test lens so that I could see clearly. I ran out of time and felt they were not going to help me and left without a prescription. Counting travel I wasted 3 hours on a busy day."
