"The ladies at front desk were very pleasant even the young ladies who called me to back to check my weight/ Bp. Well I wasn’t so pleased with dr Dees assessment my appointment was at 845am doc didn’t arrive until 930am Maybe later than that only because I stepped out of the room to ask was he on campus !!! He’s very arrogant no compassion didn’t apologize that he was running behind are anything . If the medical board gave him his license they should get them back FAST NO WAY HE’S a NEUROLOGICAL"
"Where do I start! After several visits with my 84 year old partner I will not take him back to Dr.Dees ! I could say more but others have spoken about his demeanor! My issue with Dr. Dees was a trip to the emergency room. We were in Infimary for 9 hours and the cause was a New medication that Dr. Dees had prescribed . The emergency room Dr.said for my partner to immediately stop take the prescription. His issue's stopped the next day. We set appointments with his primary Dr. And Dr Dees the next week for a follow ups as instructed by the Emergency Room. Dr. Dees was indignant that some other Dr. Took my partner off a Drug he prescribed. Arrogant does not describe that particular office visit. The deciding factor that I we will not return to Dr. Dees or UAB is that when I sent in refills for two other medications that Dr. Dees had been filling for over a year. After week his nurse FINALLY called back and said I needed to have his other Dr's fill these prescriptions. I asked his nurse why and she said she would asked and get back with me . She NEVER did. One prescription was a pain medication. Which he was out of until I could get an appointment with his other Doctor. Inexcusable Behavior! Living in Atlanta for over 40 years , Mobile has a long way to go with their Medical System. The Doctor is doing nothing to improve it. In my opinion Dr. Dees either needs to step up to the plate or move on!"
"I met with Dr. Dees today to discuss how we can maximize my quality of life with Parkinson's Disease (PD). He is very professional and caring. He did a thorough exam r/t my disease process. He answered all of our many questions, and educated us further about PD. He wrote a new script to enhance the absorption/utilization of my current meds to reduce the severity of the symptoms. He is the first Neurologist who conveyed such a caring and supportive role. I feel safe in his care. I highly recommend that you make an appointment with him if you have Parkinson's Disease. Thank you Dr. Dees for your care and compassion."
"My wife has been seeing Dr. Dees for Parkinson's for quite a few years. We drive 3 hours to see him since we fill he is worth the drive for her. Like what he covers and info he provides. It seems his mind is always analysing which could be taken as not paying attention. We realize now he is paying very close attention and thinking. Especially like that he ends each appt by asking us what questions we have for him even when it is obvious that he has other patients waiting and he is busy."
"If I could give a ZERO for Dr. Dees' service I would! We are DESPERATE for answers on behalf of our mother who has Parkinson, but we will NOT get answers from Dr. Dees. He is abrupt, arrogant, and condescending and lacks empathy for his patients and their families. I could not be more disappointed in the time that we have allowed Dr. Dees to steal from our mother! He has wasted valuable time and we are heart-broken that we trusted him with our mother's care. Surely, there has GOT to be doctors who are willing to take time to properly care for their patients in Mobile!"
