"I bought my RadCity 5+ ebike last year August 2023 from the St. Pete location. It's been a fantastic experience I ride 7 plus miles daily. I brought it in for the free service check after 100 miles. Nat setup an appointment for me and took care of everything, and had it done within 2 hours. Let me say the service is excellent. I'm enjoying this bike daily and highly recommend it to anyone. I researched many before purchasing this one. Now it's almost a year later and I only had a minor problem. The clock would not set and I felt it the battery had an issue when down to 3 bars and less I called St. Pete service and spoke to Nat. He told me the display was defective. He said to bring in the unit to confirm. I went over and Jerry tested the parts and gave me a new unit. I also discussed the battery issue with him. I asked if they would replace it before my warranty expired. Jerry said we want you to be completely satisfied and replaced the battery under warranty also. Let me tell you that's the service that made a real beliver out of me. I not only bought the right ebike, it's the service behind the sale that counts. People like Nat & Jerry make RAD ebikes number one in my book. If you're considering buying one it's worth the trip to St. Pete take a free test drive you'll be happy you did."
"I went into the store in St. Pete Fl and was kicking some tires as they say, met Frank one of the sales experts…WHAT A SUPER GUY. Yea lots of questions and even a test ride. Left with 2 brand new Radster road bikes and a new hitch carrier! Super excited. Thank RAD for not being just an online store but getting into communities where people can actually see, touch and feel the product before making a purchase. You guys are doing it right! Very satisfied Customer! Dean"
"I spent 20 minutes in an automated phone system to find out if the store was open on a Saturday because of discrepancies listed online. I asked another automated system if there were inner tubes in stock. Then went to the store for an overpriced inner tube, that did not come in any packaging. When I walked in a lady asked what she could get me from a seated position at a desk. Then the guy I bought my unbranded rack from last month came out and asked me what he could help me with. I told him I needed and inner tube, and he promptly got it, and returned while I was looking around. I was interested in buying something to make the trip worthwhile, rather than only a disposable tube, but I felt as if I was being rushed out of the store. The only reason I like the rad better than my lectric I totaled is because of the hydraulic brake system, which I have now learned how to install. I have the radrover 6, if the lectric 3.0 had hydraulic brakes, and it’s the same quality as last year, it’s definitely a better, faster, more versatile bike. I still like my rad, I haven’t been hit by any cars on it yet. Only had one accident on the lectric, which totaled it. Was hit more than 20 times in the last year on the Santa Monica. It has one pedal, but i am getting as much use out of it now as my rad, because the rad is having a ton of flat tire issues. Anyway, hopefully this Kenda tire from the rad dealer gets me another couple hundred miles and I don’t get hit by no cars. Oh yeah, these oem tires seem to wear down fairly fast too. I think I got about 1000 miles, maybe more on the bike. I have rotated the tires once, and I’m close to bald in the rear. 1000 miles is fair for a street ready bike. But a good set of tired will last twice as long. And that’s what I’d expect when spending $1800 on a bike, or $600 more than my last quality bike. But this one is $400 cheaper now, and the lectric is $200 less than when I bought mine. I’m salty that I spent $22 on a tire, that wasn’t in a box. But my rad bike is ready to go now. Y’all enjoy. The bikes ain’t bad. Just bad for thrifty and poor people, and I wouldn’t pay them to build. Trust a local bike shop or neighborhood kid or a homeless person to get your bike out together tighter, without stripping and losing bolts."
"So I’m wondering if Rad Power Bikes is going to acknowledge the large number of people that have had the dreaded error 21. I’ve done the research and tried the trouble shooting guide numerous times and talked to 2 technical advisors to no avail. I bought two Rad Rover 6 Power Bikes and both of them ……. at the same time had the same error 21 and no longer produce power. Yes, I’ve had both bikes for over a year and so the warranty is expired. However, one bike with 170 miles and the other with 80 and both NEW bikes have the same problem and don’t produce any propulsion no matter what troubleshooting I follow at their direction. It’s obviously a faulty component considering all the people I read about having the same problem. And frankly, now that the warranty is expired, they don’t even care that I have two dead bikes. They don’t even have any recommendations to get it repaired. Do yourself a favor and avoid this Chinese made hack that they have no intention of technically supporting. I literally have $4000 of worthless e-bikes that just sit in my garage and frankly are too heavy to just peddle around. Shame on you Rad Power Bikes. My prediction is people will get wind of this and your business will soon be a smoking hole."
"Excellent sales and service! My Best Bud Kirby, from Illinois and I went in to test ride the new Radster Trail and Radster Road. Frank and Forest went above and beyond. We were treated like VIP’s. No high pressure sales, just a Great Demo ride on the new Awesome, Smooth, Comfortable & Strong Radsters on the Pinellas Trail. You couldn’t find a better location to Test Ride the bikes. Thanks Guys!"
