"Replying to owner’s comment below: THERE was NOBODY on the sand where the classes take place. Secondly, another regular student was with me, Laura, who witnessed that there was no instructor at all on the sand where she often takes your classes. Why even arguing without any evidence? Did the instructor send you video of themselves at 5pm at the right spot? No! Simply because she was NOT there. This was not the reason why I am not attending your classes. It’s the treatment I received! Customer service should include listening skills and respect to clients. While seeking yoga to help regulate my body and mind, I was surprised by the person who answered this business phone today. I called to try to book more classes despite the instructor no-show, schedule discrepancies, and online booking issues just to be talked over and basically implied I was lying since “yes, the instructor was at the beach, waited until 15 minutes after class schedule time, but no one showed up.”, she said. I asked if she had listened to the voicemails, which she answered no. The phone etiquette was so poor that I decided to ask for a full refund and give up on this group. In trying to start as a new student, firstly I bought 2 session pass for $30. Then I booked a Sunset Beach Yoga yesterday, arrived at the paid parking lot, which is $3.00/hr. I paid $4.00 as I was 15 minutes early for the class. To my surprise, I met a regular student at the North walkway, were they advise us to walk and meet at the sand, she was coming from the beach. This was 10 minutes before class start time, and only she and I were there for class. We waited until 5 minutes after the class start time, Meanwhile calling the Madeira Beach Yoga phone number and reaching their voicemail, where we left messages with our contact and the event. Then we headed to the Rec Center, asked the front desk about the whereabouts of the yoga instructor but they said they hadn’t seen anyone. But the Madeira Beach Yoga Jan’23 schedule printed copy (see attached photo) was on the reception desk showing no class scheduled yesterday afternoon, which was the opposite of the online schedule."

"Few things are more magical than yoga on the beach with this crew. Absolutely delightful. Teachers are excellent, just the right amount of challenge for me. I felt very relaxed and open afterwards. The owners have done a great job building this community. Everyone is very friendly. This is my new regular spot!"

"I am totally new to yoga. I've only taken one class here in Michigan before two amazing sessions at this studio during my vacation - the candlelight class and beach flow. Both were lead by extremely wonderful instructors who made you feel comfortable in only doing what was good for your body on that day. The classes were attended by super friendly people with a variety of practice levels. I would highly highly recommend them to anyone. I can't want to come back for more."
