"It should be 0 stars. The nurses and doctor have no care. The doctor seemed lost and half of the stuff he said made no sense. Discharge my dad for a blood clot without even a referral to a specialist just the name and phone number. Most health insurances need a referral for a specialist to even be covered. No work ethic or empathy. I think attending physician was Dr. Conklu. He was in the room, 3 minutes max the entire 4 hour visit. Worst experience ever."

"We had a great experience at this hospital. We got admitted fast and the doctor did all the necessary tests to give my husband a proper diagnosis. The admission nurse was a bit rude, but overall we give this hospital a solid 5 star."

"The people with an actual degree that are there to take care of you and try to help are great. the people at the front desk have a mouth and have for over 2 years and they make it point to let you know they wanna be rude instead of talk like normal people. Definitely ego problems it's weird."

"Front admin check in is poor in every way. Rude, uncaring and just plain lazy. Left Me literally writhing in pain on the floor, having some kind of an attack while sending my husband to the parking lot to get my license because they allegedly needed to check me in first before calling a doctor. It turned out to be a gallbladder attack, but it could’ve been a heart attack for all they knew. I wrote a letter to complain they blamed it on us Not sure how it could be the patient’s fault when they’re lying on the floor having an attack and not one doctor being called to attend with a drivers license being more important than the health of the patient . Disturbing. Apparently at NCH, they don’t know the difference between who is the patient and who is the doctor. I’ll go to physicians regional or Gulf Coast Medical Center any day before I walk into another NCH."

"If I can rate a zero I would. NCH is far off the worst experience I’ve EVER had. From the front desk to the charge nurses to the DOCTOR were nothing but insensitive & unprofessional towards my minor. I went in last night with my daughter around 11 PM. The lady in the front kept having patients after my daughter go before my daughter, I asked her nicely why is that person going before my daughter she said to me “it all depends on how critical your illness is” mind you my daughter was throwing up. My daughter was crying out loud asking for help and I advise the front lady I think it’s very obvious. My daughter pain is at 10. She then told me to be patient that she’ll be up soon. then again, another man went before my daughter that’s when I lost it. I went up to the lady in the front and I said this is absolutely ridiculous. I need my daughter to be seen immediately. My daughter has been here before and her pain is getting worst. she then said your nurse is on the way. She did not notice that I heard her tell the nurse that I was being rude and that I had said something negative about the nurses.. which that’s not true I was just asking why is my daughter being pushed back? It gets even worse once we get to the bed. The doctor immediately was standoffish he was beyond rude. Did not care about my daughter pain. The nurse also was very rude and did not care about my daughter pain, it even got to a point where they left us in the room for about 45 minutes no meds no pain killer nothing.We called the nurse in two times she wouldn’t come to our room. I Had to go outside and I pulled her in and I told her my daughter is still in critical pain. They kept telling me there’s nothing they can do as is a GI issue which is understandable, but just to their lack of care, making my daughter feel comfort WAS NOT THEIR FIRST Priority!! Back to the two women up front while my daughter was crying in the lobby they kept on purposely playing on their phone loud enough for the whole lobby heard them giggling and laughing about their funny videos they were watching on their phone . I hate this place NEVERRR Again!! go to physician regional they’re the best!! Shame on ALL OF YOU!!!"
