"Dr Lloyd LEVIA took me over from a Dr that believes a Quadriplegic should go from the bed to the couch and back to the bed again and my medicine was not targeting what I needed & my A1C Was a 12. Dr LEVIA got my medicine straight and got my A1C to a great level. He has strengthen me around to I am part of the world again and he is interested in me having the best life possible. I have asked Dr LEVIA for alot of things and his Staff has pĺiotly & professional while getting it done. He has given me everything I have needed and it was done Quickly. I have been in the Hospital alot while he has been been MY Doctor and he has always showed up at my bed to make sure I am OK and If I need anything. Yes Dr LEVIA wants to see you little more than some Dr's do but I appreciate that because you know as I do when you are elderly like me you can have problems pop up Quickly. He has always been great in his office and his Staff has been great. His bedside manner has always polite and professional at the Hospital."

"Dr. Leiva's pursuit of the $ at the expense of his patients is more than unethical, it's abusive! My father, who is 80, has been seeing Dr. Leiva since February of this year. He has had his care at three different specialists delayed and/or cancelled because of Dr. Leiva refusing to approve these visits with my father's insurance company, including follow up appointments. He also has refused to request multiple visits to these specialists when I asked, because he says that before each visit, he wants to see my father first. I have spoken to my father's insurance co. three different times and they assure me that doctors can request multiple visits to see specialists. When I asked about this, Dr. Leiva told me that the insurance co. didn't know what they were talking about. Other than billing the ins. co., it is unclear to me as to why he would want to repeatedly see my father. Given his behavior at this point it appears that he is just interested in $$. Recently, Dr. Leiva refused to approve a STAT order from a neurologist so that my father could see a neurosurgeon for a possible shunt placement in his brain. Dr. Leiva told me he would have to see my father first before approving the order and did not believe that the STAT order was urgent. My father had just seen him only 6 days prior to this STAT order! The neurosurgeon's office contacted Leiva's office three times requesting approval and he still would not approve the order. Recently I went with my father to the office for this "approval" appt. Dr Leiva was extremely rude to both my parents and myself, and refused to listen to anything we were saying. I told him that we would not be back and that he was more interested in billing the insurance co. than the health of my father. Needless to say, we did not get the approval necessary for the STAT order. I spoke to my father's insurance co. and they helped me to file a formal grievance against Dr. Leiva. He is supposed to specialize in elder care, but unfortunately he chooses to abuse his authority on those most vulnerable. He is rude and just plain awful."

"I was extremely dissatisfied with the Doctor and his staff. I was given an appointment 3 months in advance and sat there for an hour waiting for the doctor to come back from lunch. They know his schedule why are they making appointments when he is not available. Dr Leiva was big on ordering tests but he was extremely bad at actually reading the results. He's the only Doctor I have ever seen who charges for my medical records. I dismissed him as a primary physician for these reasons. I would not recommend him to anyone."

"Dr Leiva is a great Doctor. Unparalleled experience. Moint Sinai trained. Double board certificate. My doctor for more than 20yrs. I travel 2 hours to see him. He is truthful, honest and founded problems nobody founded in the past. Great human being. Don't let anyone let you think otherwise. Dr Lloyd saved my husband's life. Recommend him to anyone looking for a capable Doctor."

"Went summer of 2020 concerned over fertility issues, went over blood work and asked for a referral for a fertility test told me no, that it is 99% of the time the woman's fault, then asked if my wife had a STD preventing her from pregnancy, told him no and he said she needs to get her test done first. Fast forward to her getting all her test done I request fertility testing again and he repeats same stance as before and I told him she finished her testing and in order for us to get fertility medicine I had to be tested, so he sends me to quest, I setup appointment and go to drop off, my labs aren't there, call Levia's office and they tell me they expire after 24hrs which I asked why I wasn't informed, so I setup a new appointment 3 days later, go in and quest once again doesn't have lab, call to have them send in and when they get order they informed me they do not do that testing. Doctor is very rude, uncaring, and has put additional stress on my wife and I during a difficult time."
