"This Dr was very short and rude on the phone with someone who couldn't speak much English. I attempted to assist the person in getting services she needed which he wanted to charge for the services. I explained that the person had insurance, to see if that would help with the cost and the Physician's response to me informing him of the person's insurance info was, "And so? What does that mean?" I informed that usually healthy insurance helps patient with the cost of services rendered, and he replied snarkily, "Well, I have to pay for those test.." again, very short and nasty on the phone. I can understand having a little frustration because of the language barrier, but to simply express said frustration to patients is quite alarming and unprofessional. Maybe a course on Cultural Competency will better aid this Physician in offering quality care to his patients."

As a person who once spent months on end in hospitals and has had many, many doctors throughout my life, I saw Dr. Pfeilsticker as being the best qualified, real and compassionate physician within his study and that I’ve ever been lucky enough to see. My first time seeing him was as a walk-in and he spent 45min talking to me - practically laying out my entire life so far on the table, addressing all my needs and set backs with the best case scenarios on how to move forward and treat. I will continue to go to him as long as I’m able, but even if I couldn’t I will always remember him as an extremely driven and caring intellectual who seems to go above and beyond to maintain the title of a doctor - one that in this day and age is simply not at all easy to find and I appreciate that more than I even know how to express."

"Dr Pfeilsticker is the best!!! He give you all the time you need, answers all of your questions, LISTENS to what you are saying and treats you accordingly. I have also seen him with extremely elderly patients and he is very gentle and kind to them as is his assistant. He is NOT your typical doctor. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him!!! "Iv been going to doctor jack for over 4 years now. I moved to Florida over 4years ago and he was my first doctor I picked when I moved to Florida. continueing my treatment for addiction from another state is scary but He is caring and tells you how it is. But he also talks to you about your life and his life( first time any doctor has spoken to me about there life on a personal level) and he understands being in recovery is not perfect nor easy. If I come in a little early or have problems in my life that I need help with he's there and understands. Sandy witch is at the front desk when you walk in is the heart and soul of this office and does everything from calling and receiving to appointments and new patients to insurance and so much more and is also caring and sweet. recovery isn't an exact science and there's set backs. He doesn't get mad or lecture you and makes you feel bad.he picks you back up gives you advise and helps you move on or adjusts your medication.he makes you feel better and that its not the end of the world. Iv come to know jack pretty well and I'd say to anyone out there reading this that might be on the fence or thinks that because it's a small doctor's office that it's not good or it's something else your flat wrong. Doctor jack is a good man and a great doctor with a big heart that understands addiction and the human mind.if you desire or decide to come here don't judge him until youv gone to atleast 3 appointments and don't listen to the negative reviews because there simply not true.
