"Met with Dr Buirgus as new patient and I really liked him. He earned my confidence and trust right away. Sadly, the IR procedure he described, and prescribed for me and then that I was scheduled for was denied by my insurance saying that the physician did not include imaging with the request. I called the office twice leaving messages making them aware and offering to get the imaging, but needed a script. This was one week before the procedure. Nobody returned my call or followed up. The night before the procedure was planned the scheduler called me to prepare for the procedure informing me of the denial and started to tell me the cost. I explained that I left messages making aware of the denial and need for imaging. The imaging I provided to Dr Buirgus was from 2021. I asked for an imaging script so could get the results to the insurance for approval. The scheduler said he would relay the message to the office. Then again the procedure scheduler called for post procedure follow up. I reminded him that I didn’t have the procedure and that nobody from the office followed up. He said he would again relay that to the office and someone would follow up. No follow up happened. I can’t tell you the level of disappointment I experienced. Dr Buirgis said the procedure had the potential to leave me pain free and possibly for a long time. I swapped days out at work with another coworker and people around me were so happy that I was going to have some pain relief. It never happened and there are no plans on the horizon because I got absolutely NO follow up. I feel like my time and resources were a complete waste."

"I was a patient of Dr. Guirguis for about the past 2 years and his partner for 3 years prior to that dr. Guirguis is a great doctor and a nice guy easy to talk to unfortunately that doesn't trickle down to his staff I understand the office staff has a monumental job keeping the numerous patient charts, orders, and appointments in order I wouldn't want to do it that's for sure but when a patient has a problem that consists for 8 months after repeated attempts to get the problem corrected I got discharged from this practice by a letter in the mail 8 days before my appointment this put me in a jam because it's not very easy to find a pain management doctor on short notice well to make a long story shorter I ended up running out of meds and this past Thursday I had a heart attack from going into withdrawal so be careful who you chose it may not be the doctor who gets you"

"I had to change as.Dr Guirguis is not in my network, I'd love to go back to them, they treated me great from the front desk to the nurse who takes your vital signs and the nurse practitioner who sets you up with your prescriptions. Dr Guirguis is great! If they would accept FL Blue Menicare advantage I'd be back in a second!"
