"I went in to get a set of strings. I found what I was looking for pretty quickly and noticed two cashier's were busy so I wandered the entire store. I ended up finding a book also. When I finally ponied up to the register area it was still the same two customers at both registers. After a few minutes I realized that one customer was just looking up stuff with the cashier and and the other register was just starting what looked like a lengthy DOS data entry to ring up another purchase. A staff member approached me and asked if I was ready to check out and got out his phone. I said sure but he wanted my phone number. Then my name and email. Look. I'm just buying some strings. So now I just ordered them on eBay for less and no hassle. You don't need my name and email and who knows whatever else for a set of strings. I've never had a good experience at this store, I'll never return."

"Our son asked for an electric guitar for his birthday, so we went to Guitar Center. When we arrived the store was very busy. It must have been obvious that we were completely lost because this young man acknowledged us right away and promised to help as soon as he could. Jon (Gianfranco?) took the time to really listen to us to understand what our son wanted and help us get everything we needed. He made some great suggestions and really helped our son find a guitar that we are confident he will enjoy for years. There was another staff member (sorry we didn’t catch his name) who answered some questions about the electric drums and he was equally great. Thank you both for an awesome experience!"
