"Vacationing nearby and wanted a walking destination for exercise. I walked from Turquoise Place and it was perfect. The Butterfly Garden was hard to specifically locate. I recommend this as a great low impact exercise opportunity more than a butterfly opportunity. Well established asphalt hiking paths with local plants. Many friendly people along the trail. Lots of places to stop and sit on benches, swings, and even a giant chair. Great way to spend children energy too!"
"Access from the Backcountry trail. Located at the orange beach sportsplex (back of the parking lot). Tiny garden and shelter nice if you're hiking the trail but not destination worthy."
"The garden is a wonderful small break on a walking trail. Biking is probably the easiest way to get here but walking is only about 2-3 miles of scenic paved trails. We will definitely come back again and bring lunch next time. The boulders next to it are really fun for taking kid pictures on."
"The Butterly Garden is exactly what it says, a small garden area with butterfly attracting plants nearby. There is a screened in shelter with 4 picnic tables inside that is great for a small group. There is also 3 rock climbing structures that the kids love. This is right on the trail."
