"There’s so much great things that I can say about this company, but I’ll try to keep it short. My wife and I bought our first home at the age of 20. We lived there for 13 years and had two children there. We had thoughts of a forever home for a while. We knew exactly what we wanted, but didn’t know which builder to use. I’m in the real estate business so over the course of a couple years. I was taking notes figuring out what we wanted. Once I purchased my vacant piece of land, we got real serious on our plans to build so we actually went to a few other builders had plans drawn up, but it just didn’t feel right. The biggest concern we had was we needed to know exactly how much the house was going to cost (no estimates or surprises) And with Palmwood they were able to tell me to the dollar amount what it would be. They were upfront about the cost of extras if we wanted to choose some upgrades throughout the process and also with a custom home, there could be some additional fees at the end so they prepared me for that. There’s always lots of houses being built and some horror stories that get spread around and I understand some things happen we are all humans but our experience was wonderful. They told us 18 months and they got it done just short of that. Everybody I talked to and worked with or seen at the job site was great! I want to thanks everybody involved from Phillip At sales, our Awesome contract manager, Michelle and the great superintendent we had Scott this team made our experience building our forever home amazing! "Owners of vacant lots looking to build their dream home please observe the aesthetics of the neighborhood before you let the contractor take over and clear cut the lot. Many lots are canopied with walls of trees and flora that have been here for more than 50 + years. The trees and flora have been a great windbreaker for storms. Here in the Nature Coast we enjoy rolling land, natural shorelines, and the multiple refreshing clear springs, not too mention protected species that need habitat. The developers are ruining this area of the nature coast. The last thing I want to see driving down our roads is a man-made cement blob in the middle of a beautiful street covered in trees and wildlife. Your home is valued much more hidden in trees, not to mention the shade you will be thankful for and wish you had like maybe your neighbor has. Trees take a long time to grow here, much longer than up north. Plant native plants as well. This area, along with many parts of Florida, are being tragically decimated. Please, please oversee the clearing of your vacant lot."

"Palmwood Homes did a great job building our dream house in the Royal Highlands area. Everyone was very professional and if there was an issue they took care of it in a timely manner. All warranty items were taken care of, and now the Cabana Key is a dream come true for us. "Our super Kevin was the best! Once he took over our build, things ran very smoothly. We were very impressed with how detail oriented, communicative, and overall on top of things he was. We have family that was building next door at the same time with a different builder, and compared to their experience we were happy with how often Kevin was there to check on the progress and quality of our build. Compared to the other builders we met, Palmwood was by far the best choice as far as what you get included standard and overall bang for your buck. From contract signing to closing was 15 months. From permit to close was 12 months."

"Palmwood built a beautiful home. How ever we are unable to give them five stars. They could have been more informative during the two-year building process. There was substantial additional cost that Palmwood didn’t disclose until closing a year later. Our construction supervisor was responsive to inquiries. He normally responded the same day when we reached out to him. We commend him for a job well done. In closing we would like to state that we would go with Palmwood again if the occasion arises. We would strongly suggest that Palmwood contact the client for overture cost not just cost associated with Change Request."
