"CIS made a bad situation a living nightmare! I would describe their services as over-promised, under-delivered, deceitful, poor communication, untimely delivery of services and unethical billing practices. I contacted them in the beginning of August to address mold remediation. I was told the actual physical labor aspect would start in a week. They did not start until the end of October. In the process, they damaged furniture, walls and my TV- all of which have not been repaired properly. The owner, Dustin, also told me that the post test indicated zero mold in the home, but after asking for the test for 2 weeks, it showed there was still mold in the home and I found large pockets of mold they refused to come back and address, stating it wasn’t part of their protocol. Mind you, when hiring them, their representative identified mold in these areas and told me they expect to find more mold than visible and prepared me the job would be larger than appeared. Dustin also assured me in a verbal conversation they would address all areas of the home that tested positive for mold because I have children in the home. These areas were neglected. Once the job was complete, they never sent me an invoice yet moved forward by placing a lien on my home for the outstanding invoice. Again, I was waiting on the invoice since I hired them as a customer so that I could work with my insurance company to have the invoice paid per my insurance company’s policy. This policy and procedure was discussed up front before work started. Additionally, my questions and concerns were never addressed. I did not receive returned calls in a timely matter and emails were responded to after business hours and typically questions were not addressed, so it could take a week to get 1 questioned answered. I just got confirmation they accepted payment through my insurance company about a month ago. Still no notification they have dropped the lien. This company lacks scruples and ethics. Save yourself the headache and avoid them!"
