"Tore out old deck, had to move my hot tub. Noticed the 4x4 board from under hot tub was gone. I asked where it was. He said he "saved" it. He lied. Later on when it was installed he told me nothing was under there. Had several argument over this piece of wood that is required, or the hot tub could crack. Arrived with wrong Deck material (twice). Returned with diff. deck materials. They installed it but it was still wrong, so had to rip out and redo. They tried to deceive me into thinking there was no difference in the two. He told me it would be 4 mos until he could get the “right” stuff, instead of having a conversation with me. Next day, I found I could get it in 2 days. They reconnected power to hot tub, with no water. When I did fill it the jets and heater did not work. I had to get hot tub manuf. To come out– to discover it was connected wrong. They threw huge chunks of cement in my bushes Asked for balance due BEFORE they finished job. I found a bowed board. He didn't fix and said the “heat will make it level out” only to realize on 6/7 it was from a cracked board under it. County found issues-reinspected 4/25 I asked for "Rel.of Lien"-he said I didn't need, then in the same conversation threatened me with a Lien, because I refused to pay him $300 additional for his illegitimate “inspector” that didn’t do the proper inspections, per the County. on 6/18 I sent him (email) pic of split board under deck and asked him to fix. heard nothing. Text him on 7/1 for response. He said "job is final". They don't stand behind there work. Spent $9k"
