"we have had horrible luck with the trolley system... I called the phone # after waiting an hour... she said they come about every hour... we met other folks yesterday, waiting over an hour. there would not be as much traffic if we could get around the island by public transportation...!! it really is sad. it used to be better... one of the websites still says it comes every 20 minutes.. misleading"
"Very clean! Has phone charging stations while you wait for the beach trolley to take you to Fort Myers Beach. Plenty of parking spaces. Free Wi-Fi while you wait to. Clean restrooms. It always smells so salty and the breeze just put a smile on your face. The atmosphere is always so relaxing and comfortable.Great option to park and ride the trolley over to the beach. Since how parking can be costly at the beach. Note to mention Holiday Inn & Suits Fort Myers Beach - Sanibel Hotel ( 11171 Summerlin Square Dr. Fort Myers Beach 33931) is located just in the next lot next door. So if you want to save yourself the stress of drive over to Time Square and the Beach and let someone else do the driving. Also you save the $20 parking fee that most offer. You also have the Walmart & Taco Bell within walking distance."
"Absolutely garbage... grossly unreliable and not even worth the 75c. Used the app and waited over an 1.45 hours before a trolley finally came. Speaking to the locals, this is a very common issue that has been addressed but not fixed due to the congestion on the north side of the island. The trolleys are told when they can head north again so steer clear of taking the trolley if you can. Save your vacation from uncontrolled stress and foolishness"
"This transportation system is the most unreliable public transportation I've used. The trams and trolley are either not on time or dont show up at all. The Tram that I did ride broke down. The Trolley was only taking exact change and the driver was extremely rude to customers. The second night I was at the same stop in times square at the same time and the driver told us they were not running that route tonight. So I was forced to walk all the way back to my hotel in the dark with my child."
"The all new Beach Park and Ride is now ready and open for business. Ticket booth, interactive map display, restrooms, outdoor covered waiting areas with WiFi and charging ports along with on site security so you can easily park your vehicle and take the trolley to the beach without the parking headaches. Also bus service to RSW Airport and other destinations from this new beautifully landscaped location."
