About the Business
Welcome to Lover's Key State Park Beach
Nestled in the heart of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, Lover's Key State Park is a breathtaking sanctuary that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and serene relaxation. Once a secluded collection of barrier islands accessible only by boat, this enchanting destination has transformed into a favorite spot for romantic beachside weddings and unforgettable getaways.
Originally slated for development into luxury condominiums, the land that now forms Lover's Key State Park was generously donated to the people of Florida, ensuring its pristine beaches and lush mangrove forests remain preserved for generations to enjoy. Whether you're seeking adventure or tranquility, our park offers something for everyone.
Embark on a kayaking journey through tranquil canals and lagoons, where you might encounter graceful manatees and a variety of shorebirds. Relax under the shade of an umbrella as you take in the stunning vistas, and keep an eye out for dolphins playfully breaking the surface of the turquoise waters or ospreys diving for their catch.
For those planning a visit, please note that the park office is located at Gamble Plantation Historic State Park in Terra Ceia, FL. Additionally, our park is managed in conjunction with Koreshan State Park, located at 3800 Corkscrew Road, Estero, FL.
Come and experience the magic of Lover's Key State Park Beach, where nature's beauty and peaceful moments await you.

Reviews
"One of the best. Had a little get-together with the family. Employees were nice and friendly. Beach access is a little far. Have to walk or have to take a shuttle( which they have). Quite place and quite beach."
"Nice state park with beach, hiking trails, and kayaking. Follow the signs for the park entry. The car fee is $8. There is a larger building with guides and information about the area and exhibits about the nature and fauna. Take an easy hike on a nice trail around the mangroves. You'll likely see larger gopher turtles, many birds, and manatees (if you are lucky). The hiking trail has numerous well-marked cut-offs that allow you to shorten the length."
"Quiet and beautiful. Tram stops around 6pm."
"For $8 we were able to enjoy this wonderful state park. There were trails and beaches to explore and enjoy. Bring the suntan lotion and hat!"
