Marathon Gas

"Do not do credit at the pumps here!!! They charge $100 holding fee to your card if you do. I had less than $100 in my account so thankfully my bank declined it, but if it didn't it would've overdraft my account! It then asked for my pin at the pump so I could proceed. The station itself was closed cause it was late at night so I had no choice but to put in my pin, which is dangerous to do at the pumps nowadays due to skimmers. $100 holding fee is extreme! Especially since I wasn't even buying over $30 in gas. Will be avoiding gas here from now on."

"I rarely review gas stations, why would you. But this time is different. Went inside to get a coke. The fountain machine was broken, so I grabbed a bottle. Was drenched in sweat from a long hot day and only had $2 in my pocket. The employee, an Indian man, told me it was $2.26. Told him I only had $2, and he said no problem. Was about to leave when he came around the counter and showed me where cups were, in case I wanted one. So I grabbed a cup. Then he says this machine behind the counter has ice, so I fill up the empty cup with ice. That's called customer service. That's called a person who takes pride in his work, no matter where that work is. Little things like that, make a difference."
