"The absolute worst since new management. Manager is rude and unhelpful. No one ever answers the phone. No attendants to help people work the ticket dispenser to get out."
"I was downtown for a family wedding. Parked in a spot that said zip zone 2 hour parking during a certain time frame. So what does that refer to after those hours? Can we park there forever till the timeframe rolls back around? No you can’t because I was given a ticket. No meter to pay. Just a zip don’t that said a timeframe you could do your 2 hours. After that timeframe can you not park there? Maybe put a no parking sight after this timeframe so people don’t get charged 52.40 for “unlawful parking”. How does that make sense? There was plenty of room and the car in front of me had no ticket."
"The lady in the office that takes ticket payments is very rude and a little wacky"
"The worst entrance parking system for the Jackson/Main garage. Instead of letting customers take a paper ticket on the busiest days and pay on their way home, you have to use a credit card to enter the parking garage. The credit card method confuses most people or catches them off guard and it takes them time to dig for their credit card. The credit card scanner does not work with a quick swipe so people have to repeat and repeat. All of this slows the entire process to a crawl to the point that cars are waiting for a whole block. This complete system is flawed, and it is evident that they have and need at least two attendents standing at the entrance ticket machines helping the customers. IT SHOULD NOT BE THIS DIFFICULT TO GET INTO A PARKING GARAGE. The city needs to reevaluate how Denison is working the entrance. The city needs to come down and watch what is happening during art or music walk or any other day there is a celebration downtown. Update: Thanks for your timely response. Bravo, that your machines are up to industry standard. Unfortunately, your entrance expedience is very slow regardless of your up-to-date machines due to customer confusion at POS. One idea is to have someone inform the drivers to have their CC or phone ready before they get to the reader as a simple fix. Another idea is to let the drivers figure out how to pay. Currently, the driver focuses on the attendant standing next to the machine instead of looking at the machine. Then the attendant engages the driver in conversations, the driver digs for their CC, and the attendant takes the driver's card to swipe the device or push any buttons. Nowadays, very few people are this helpless unless they see an easier, softer way. Don't become part of the problem. These are basic observations you would pick up if you would come down as an observer during large-scale events. I challenge you to say time at the CC reader is expedient."
"How about you make it clear that the road side parking spots by Celsius are restricted? "No Parking" signs, heard of them? Of course not, how else would you be able to scam people out of their hard earned money. Clever, disingenuous, Fort Myers police supported tactic. Just shameful."
