"This place is like a car dealership or the american healthcare system. they'll clearly try to charge hidden costs when you're not paying attention. They change their pricing all the time, trying to suck as much out of you as they can get away with. We pulled in at exactly 7:45pm and when we pulled in, there was large sign stating $1.00 per hour, $10 daily max with no timeframes at all. So, we pull in, take a ticket and park. Exactly one hour later (by pure chance) we pulled up to the kiosk at 8:45pm and scanned our ticket and it displayed a charge of $5.00, now even if we were one minute past, which we weren't, it should have only displayed $2.00 I called the attendant over and I told him it was trying to charge me $5.00 for an hour and he started talking about time frames and it being past 5pm, it was clearly a fumble around words. I told him why is there a giant sign right there at your entrance that says $1.00 per hour, with no time frame. Then, another customer walks over from the sign and says the same thing "I thought it was a $1 an hour as well" The attendant said he'll just let me out and did without charging me. I would have paid the $1 but this isn't the first time this has happened and there have been times, especially in season, where they hike their rates to $10 "event parking" when there is no event (just happens to be the weekend in season) and the lot isn't even half full and they'll put the sign out stating $1 an hour and then they charged us $10 for event parking when we were only there an hour. Its happened more than twice on us before we decided we wouldn't park here anymore on weekends. I don't use the monroe entrance because the sign will lure you with a cheap price and then it charges you $10 up front just to go in rather than taking a ticket and if you get a car stuck behind you, its a nightmare. They face the $1.00 side of the sign towards you when you're pulling in and the other side that says $5 is facing the wall. I talked to the attendant about this and highlighted how that's misleading and he blames "random people" who turn the signs around all the time instead of just admitting that's shady af and fixing the sign to reflect the cost more accurately. Apparently, they are too busy sitting in the office on their phones to monitor the sign. How can anyone trust a business like this?"
"We parked at this garage at about 1045 pulled in because of a sign that said 100 an hour .. when we were leaving the sign had been changed to event parking $10 .. we had been there less that 3hours and clearly not staying for the ever !"
