"We stayed in lot model#20. It was close to road but we were not bothered by traffic noises or congestion coming in and out of campground. This model was clean and cozy. It was an older model and it was nostalgic as well. There was a comfortable queen sz bed. Nice recliners in living room to relax in. There were 2 televisions, a fully equipped kitchen and cute little table for dining. Also table and chairs on the porch to enjoy. The clubhouse, laundry and bath houses were spic and span as well as the pool and shaded area beside pool for picnics. The library has plenty of books and dvds to borrow and the grounds were well manicured and beautiful! Manager was always making rounds and available to help campers if needed and friendly too. We love this place and intend to come back. The Coquina public beach (turn left after bridge) was gorgeous and had lifeguards, cafe, clean restrooms, changing rooms, showers and even air for beach toys and rafts. Lazy Lobster on Longboat Key is also a place you’ll like for dinner. Everything delicious and it’s casual wear with decent prices. I’m so happy we were able to find this sweet little campground and look forward to visiting again soon!"

"When we first made the reservation, they asked for card payment. Didn't hesitate to do so. Most places like this ask for a DEPOSIT first, NOT the whole payment. Asked the woman who was working why they took the entire payment and her excuse was that if you check in online, it'll do that. We never check in online, we called, and they still took the whole payment even after they mentioned a deposit on the phone. They took the WHOLE payment for the two weeks we were here, and I must say, it was a bit too much for such a small (and I do mean small) spaces they have. That was a huge red flag to me. Why have signs up in your community to pay in the first 24 hours of being here when you charged my for my entire stay? (Hence why I was automatically took one star off my rating). Now, for the rest of the stay, it was pretty decent. Not many complaints. Now for the bath house; you need a code to get in. They have two toilets, and two showers. They don't come in and clean them very often. Most times I've gone in, the floors have either been drenched in water, almost causing me to slip and fall. Took a shower one night after someone else, who happened to leave hair on the wall. (Not pictured). There have been times where I've seen toilet paper or paper towels all over the floor. And almost always had someone follow me in the bath house after I walked in, making me wish I at least had my phone for some of those moments, as well as my pocket knife. There was another time where there was NO toilet paper in the dispenser, but a roll sitting outside of it. (As pictured, and why I gave them three stars). When you first get here, if you're expecting people to pay in the first 24 hours of being here, wouldn't it be wise to have someone sitting in the office to take people's payments if that's actually an option?"

"Great location! Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and laundry. Nice pool, even though it's on the small side. We were on site #10 which was directly backed up to the main road going to Anna Maria Island. Traffic was VERY LOUD at night. Would have been nice to be a few rows in, as the sound would have been blocked a bit. More trees and plants would probably help with this. Would stay again."

"This is and a nice well maintained campground. However is not habitable with the highway next to your bed. It feels if the cars are running over you when you try to sleep. The highway has rumble bars in the road and the road is next to your RV. (Impossible to sleep). For $130 per night? Adam's response to my complaint: "9 other sites next to the road are able to sleep""

"After spending most of the last 2.5 years touring the country, especially the east coast, we were blown away by Buttonwood. The service was amazing, the flowers and maintenance had everything looking stunning. We were also shocked by the amount of employees taking care of everything and everyone was so friendly. Being empty nesters, we don't usually need the extra amenities, but our family joined us and the activities are endless and so much fun. We especially enjoyed the glow disco party. Our site, while not huge for our 44' fifth wheel was level and big enough for what we needed with plenty of overflow parking for the truck."
