"Very beautiful! Definitely wear your sunglasses and hat because the sand at this beach is BRIGHT! there’s a bathroom and shower nearby and lots of FREE parking. I came here with my family with our tent and chairs and we rode the waves all afternoon. This was a great beach and great day for us! I highly recommend!"
"Think tropical beach in your favorite magazine… Most beautiful photo ever… That is this beach! Coquina Beach is stunning, it is swimmable, the waves are low and slow… The water is crystal clear and inviting and as an added bonus, the sand is like baby powder… White and soft! Free parking, wonderful restrooms, changing rooms, and sand stations to rinse off. Will not Disappoint!!!"
"Very crowded on a Sunday!!! The beach is beautiful. The place is mostly lined with rental homes and apartments. At night the island is very popular for shark fishing from the shore (sharks come into shore to feed at night). We parked here and walked almost to the end. The entire length was covered with families enjoying the beach. Showers that “trickle” water and restrooms. Lots of parking. Traffic to get on and off the island can be annoying."
"We went 2 weeks ago when I was on vacation...Manatee county did a fine job cleaning it up...I also went back this past Monday morning and chilled with my chair ⛱️ you do have people bringing their dogs when this beach is no dogs allowed.. the park rangers really need to keep a eye out for these people sneaking in dogs. Other than dogs... the beach is clean and very nice...."
"First time here, and I must say... It's one of the prettiest beaches I've been to in a long time. There was plenty of parking, a playground for kids (not pictured), restrooms (which needed a good sweep at least), walking trails (not pictured), and some of the best views for sunsets, sunrises, and just an all around relaxing time. I'd definitely recommend this beach, and I'd definitely travel to this beautiful beach again. I'd love to come back and check out the trails. From the small view I got of the trail, it seemed clean enough, and it didn't look very bumpy due to roots from the trees. Definitely worth the trip to this beach."
