"Parking is a nightmare, and there's no street parking anywhere nearby. The access path has a total of like 12 parking spaces and to see if they're is a stall open you have to drive down a skinny 1 lane path in hopes that there is an open parking spot or you need to back out while other people pull in behind you and now it's a traffic jam.The beach is super crowded all the way down. There was trash on the beach and only a few trashcans that were overflowing with garbage. Not really a good beach, let's be real."
"Sometimes parking is a little tough but definitely worth it for the view at sunset for sure. Right across the street is a little shop you can buy stuff. Walk down one set of steps on the beach and there's a public bathroom there. Rinse showers there as well as at the end of the pier before you get to the parking lot is very nice."
"I love coming here. Go early enough and snag some free parking. There’s a bathroom between 15th and 19th inside of a paid parking lot (you can walk to it from the beach tho) Nice waters, can get crowded at times. Lots of birds trying to steal your food. So worth it tho. Love IRB ♡"
"Indian Rock Beach - Pinellas County, Tampa Current location: 16th Avenue Beach Access Park Finding parking is difficult, but worth it. The below are some places with free parking as well as beach access: The following are some of the locations. Central, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 16th, 19th and 20th. Free parking spaces continue on 21st - 27th. I was only able to look on 4 of the above while looking for parking. Just be sure to visit the bathroom prior to going since there are no facilities such as showers or more important bathrooms. You will only finde 1 handicap parking at each of the above locations and very few spaces. Don't let the above discourage you since you will have a great experience. People will be enjoying the beautiful sand, Sun as well as the water. Take a ride and forget about work or anything that will be waiting for you when you get back to your regular routine"
"One thing we like about this beach is that most of the time you can find parking, even though it is a pay by plate parking lot..meaning pay by the hour. Also, there are a lot of restaurants in the area, some walking distance and some you have to drive to. The beach has soft sand and is a very nice place to walk along the beach. The kids love it there, and from time to time they have found sand dollars in the water. The showers for the most place are clean and an outdoor shower to rinse the salt water off. If you are in the area, be sure to come to this beach and enjoy the Florida Sun, Beach and Water."
