"PSA for those with a disability and rely on medicaid transportation Today we had a scheduled ride through modivcare where Jose fandino garcia was scheduled to drive us to my son's appointment. When I book a ride I make sure it is notated that I have a cardiac alert service dog who is task trained and exceeds ADA standards. Jose denied our ride once he saw My service dog. I was a little flustered but tried to remind him of the ADA rights that a service dog cannot be denied when they are task trained to mitigate a disability and required for that disability. My service dog is a cardiac alert dog task trained to alert to oncoming tachycardia and hypotension to avoid hypotension crisis and blacking out. Before her I had many concussions, a fractured neck and injuries from passing out. She was recommended to my by my Neurologist as a medical aid to keep me safe. This will be handled legally, under florida law and federally reported to the department of Justice. Why does this matter? Because while this time it was an adult discriminated against, next time it could easily be a disabled child or elderly person needing to get to an appointment. Because of this my son nearly missed his appointment. When someone agrees to transport people,they are educated on the ADA and disability accommodations. Denying someone because of their disability or need of medical equipment is discrimination. I'm really frustrated over this because this appointment was important. I've ran into this with rides before, but I've also had some great drivers. I just felt this needed shared. It's 2023, equality shouldn't still be an issue. And although shedding isn't a reason to discriminate, My dog is a standard poodle with limited shedding, kept clean as required by the ADA and is a non disruption. She doesn't lay on the seat, she curls up where the feet go. Transporting her is no different than anyone else with shoes or pet hair on their bodies. There was no excuse for this :( I have a video of this discrimination and will be consulting an attorney"

"On November 9th, 2023, I had a 2:30pm pick up time from a Dentist Office 50 miles away from my house one way, this was to return me back home. I was outside the facility at 2pm, they told me they came at 2:30pm, and told Motiv Transportation that I was a no show!! They told me the next day that they only had the facilities phone number not mine, so the called the facility but not me!! They said they did not have that information!! Don't use this company cause they SUCK!! I was stranded!! They are not reliable and if they don't have your information to call you or text you to to tell you they are there to pick you up, they are ignorant!!"

"Had to call the law to get them out my yard . They will not allow an elderlyperson to eat or drink in the vehicle but they will do it in front of them. Bathroom nope best hope you can hold it. The fact I had to call the law to get them to leave. Or when they don't go back and pick someone up. Peoplewill not go to the dr so they don't have to ride with them"

"I got in a car accident with one of the drivers from Quality 2 Transportation. He was spending at weaving in and out if lanes and rear ended the car in front of him! I got a lawyer and the driver would NOT COOPERATE he would not give us his policy number as I got injured as the passenger and even though there was not a lot of damage my body was thrown and I had whiplash. The company itself would not cooperate and neither would the driver with my attorney. This company is ran by the Mexican cartel and is crooked."

"To all of the ones doing a review. I am a Transportation driver. Just not with this company. After waiting a reasonable amount of time and a driver hasn’t shown up call your insurance company. They can get you another ride. So you don’t have to sit at the Doctors office waiting. I get out and help my people. I go knock on their doors if they are not outside waiting. It’s a good possibility the drivers weren’t properly trained to do their job correctly. I have seen this company but never heard anything bad about them."
