"Chris was very nice and attentive even though they were slightly busy. He greeted each and every person as they entered. We got loaded funnel cakes (oreo special, turtle fudge, and apple carmel). All were absolutely DELICIOUS! They were crispy all the way through even with the toppings piled on. 10/10 would definitely recommend!"

"After a long day on the beach, my family and I were looking for a sweet spot to cool us off. On TikTok, I saw rave reviews for Funky Sweets, so I had to check them out. When we walked in, it felt like we were in a time capsule with all the cool groovy colors, classic boardgames, and wonderful music playing. We were greeted by some very warm, friendly smiles, and given a rundown of the plethora of ice cream flavors to choose from. Funky sweets has multiple ice cream flavors plus multiple ways you can enjoy your ice cream such as having a multitude of toppings and/or enjoying the ice cream on top of a funnel cake. My favorite was the apple strudel ice cream. It was packed with caramelized apples, and graham cracker crust with smooth vanilla ice cream. My little cousin got the dreamsicle which had an orange cream flavor and she added gummy bears on top. Funky sweets has become one of my top restaurants in St. Petersburg, Florida."

"This is a great place to grab a treat for a sweet tooth! The fried Oreos are absolutely delicious! We came back twice during our 3 night stay. Also, try the red velvet ice cream! The owners/employees are super nice & very welcoming!"

"A cute place to grab dessert. It is located in a strip mall, and there is lots of parking. There are some tables and chairs outside on the sidewalk, of you want to eat outside. Inside there is also plenty of seating, they also have board games and puzzles available to play at your table. The restaurant has a vague 70s theme, with music that's era appropriate. The main items served are, ice cream, funnel cake, waffles, fried Twinkies, boboa tea, & more. The ice cream I had delicious. They have lots of interesting flavors!"

"The customer service was great! The gentleman was very helpful, welcoming, and kind! They had some board games to kill time while we waited for our sweets! He allowed us to customize our orders to our preferences. I would highly recommend going there for a funky sweet!!"
