"This place is A-MAZING! I haven’t tried the bread yet but did buy various different pastries and they were very delicious. Nice, soft and the perfect amount of sweetness! I took some to a gathering and they were a hit! They also sell sandwiches made to order and carry other products like pancake mix. I love how everything is sourdough. Definitely a better alternative! Can’t wait to go back and try some more items!"
"We were exploring the area and decided to take a break and have lunch at the Sourdough Co. What a great decision. I ordered the Italian sandwich and it was delicious. The store is bright, clean and the staff was very friendly. I loved that the restoration saved/incorporated some of the original details into the new design. Will be back soon to try some of the other menu items."
"Charming spot for breakfast! Multiple choice breakfast sandwiches- lovely selection of coffee options- gorgeous array of pastries to share or to takeaway! Service is friendly, our food was made to order, great spot in St. Pete!"
"If you are cost conscious, don’t go to DTSP to buy your bread. It’s $12 a loaf. However, if you appreciate a beautiful location and decor with an array of pastries and breads baked fresh with quality ingredients, then you’ll love this bakery. They are now at the Tuesday market in Gulfport, where it’s $11 a loaf. If you go to Crumb Factory (cheaper overhead) it’s $8 a loaf. My son loves Sourdough bread and he likes it very fresh! He gives this bread an 8.5 out of 10. We have tried the garlic and cheddar, jalapeño and cheddar, olive, lemon blueberry and plain. He liked the garlic and cheddar best. We didn’t care for the lemon blueberry one at all. Maybe good for French toast? This location is beautiful and the service has been consistently good. Hasn’t ever been busy when I go."
"I was excited when I heard we were getting a bakery downtown. I actually tried to go to the open day, but it was postponed. When I did finally make my way to that area again, I decided to stop in. It’s has a cold atmosphere , and a cafeteria sort of feel to it. It’s not overly warm or inviting. The prices are pretty steep, but I am aware that downtown rent is NOT cheap. I had the sourdough bowl with my broccoli cheese soup, the soup was $5 with a $4 up charge for the bread bowl. My friend ordered a sandwich, it was around $10. I also ordered a baguette which set me back $7. The prices feel excessive, and the quality wasn’t really there for me. As another reviewer said, “mid”."
