"Terrible. Outages used to be once in a while now they are several times a day all day. Can't work remotely. Tried to call in several times last week and no one was interested in helping. Just kept saying they were working on the outages in our area. So I called to cancel today and the man just wanted to argue with me on the phone saying they couldn't help me until a technician came out.Why didn't they suggest a technician last week on one of the calls I made then. I even told them I had to quit work for the day because I kept getting logged out. That I was going to find a new carrier. Which I have now done. The customer service rep was very rude and very nosey."

"I have been a Cox internet customer since I moved back here from overseas. Incidentally, the plan I initially signed up for expired after a year and my monthly fee went up significantly which seemed a bit shady. A month ago I received a flyer in the mail from a competitor (cellular) offering basically the same plan for for less than half the cost. I called Cox and asked if there were any opportunities to decrease my monthly payment without degrading my services and I was assured there was nothing and in fact I was already getting the best deal possible and in fact it was going to expire this spring and it would go up another 30 dollars a month. Upon ending the call I went to the alternate internet store and within 1.5 hours I was up and running at for 50% of the cost. I kept them both for a couple weeks to ensure it met my needs and upon assessing that it "met my needs" I cut the cord. Within an hour of cancelling with Cox I received an email communicating "we would love to have you back" and a 40% for an entire year plan. Interesting, if they would have floated 15% when I called I would not have left. Anyway, seems to be a poor business model and again a bit shady. The actual store where I returned my router was great and the staff were friendly and helpful."
"Just wow. Showed up at 4pm on a Friday and worked with Chase Kloster. What a professional. We had just closed on a condo and I told him exactly what I wanted and he delivered. Took home gateway and 5 TV boxes and had Internet and DVR running in 15 minutes. Waiting on other TVs to show up. Download speed on phone 750mb."
