Reviews of Millers Mills Community Baptist Church
"Great little church."
"Beautiful building and wonderful people."
"So many friends and family members"
"Dear Google Maps Community: This is not a review of the church (it was the only spot that was 'clickable' in Millers Mills). Rather, this is a comment to Google Maps users in the immediate area of Millers Mills. Things like the annual ice harvest, which, according to Kuralt in his book "On the Road with Charles Kuralt, published 1985, has been a constant since 1790. These events, like the ice harvest, are just the kind of thing that lovers of Americana, maps, geography, history, travel, and learning in general, can research through web-based services such as Google Maps. I am urging someone to "pin" a spot on the site of the ice harvest. I may do it myself if no one else does. I assume that the locals would want people to come in for these events (ice harvest, sundae run) to help boost the economy. Google Maps certainly is a catalyst for getting folks to places they would never have dreamed of. Also, many thanks to American journalist Charles Kuralt (1934-1997) for sparking my interest in small places and common people. "The everyday kindness of the back roads more than makes up for the acts of greed in the headlines." - C. Kuralt"
"New wheel chair to get together and use the newly created ramp to come and see it And stay awhile on Sunday"
