"The mother Marianne west side soup kitchen serves 100 to 250 hungry people everyday. An amazing program, the soup kitchen uses donations from local eateries to provide prepared hot meals Monday through Friday & bagged lunches on weekends. Everyone is helpful & caring."
"I love the atmosphere in this place is like they share they energy with their community by helping those in need gods bless the people that serve their community at this majestic place"
"The church is beautiful and the mass service was pleasant. The seating was a bit uncomfortable, and while it wasn't a problem for my family personally, I was concerned about a significant tripping hazard - there are large iron rods that run perpendicular to the pews, and it was necessary to step over them to take our seats; these rods sit a good 8-12 inches up from the floor, so I could easily imagine someone catching their foot and falling."
"There is a truly special feeling in this church! Among the beautiful things that happen there that make it so special, is for over 28 years and counting ( even through CoVid ) the members of the church have perpetual eucharistic adoration. They also have a soup kitchen named after there patron Saint Marianne Cope who was raised in & patronized St. Joe's St. Pat's & became a Saint in 2012. They also have the Thea Bowman house where their mission is provide a safe, nurturing environment to enable culturally diverse children and their families to achieve their full potential. Quite the place! Come in and check out for yourself!!"
