"I strongly recommend Valarie Tart-Williams for your real estate needs. Valarie was referred to us when we were ready to purchase our condominium. I first spoke with Valarie on July 6, 2021 and immediately was confident in her real estate expertise. She was knowledgeable, asked questions and really listened to what our ideal home should be. By July 21 2021, we had an offer submitted with a targeted close date of August 31, 2021. Valarie provided recommendations for our mortgage, attorney and inspection. All were professionals and worked their butts off for us to meet our close date. Everything moved at a very fast paced. Moreover, Valarie developed a relationship with the seller’s agent that kept the lines of communication open and was instrumental in getting things done quickly. There were plenty of surprises throughout this process (not all good!) and each time Valarie came with solutions. Plenty of times she walked me back from the ledge when things got stressful. She even worked throughout her vacation to deal with one of the surprises that came up. We closed on August 26, 2021, 5 days ahead of our targeted close date. "It took us a while to write this review because life gets so hectic sometimes but even though it's been about a year since my wife and I bought our first home, we just haven't stopped thinking about writing this review. That's how satisfied we are with Valarie's services. Right from the start Valarie was very personable and well-spoken. All throughout the process she spoke with us very honestly and explained everything in detail. She knew we were not familiar with a lot of the terms, rules and regulations in real estate, and she did such an amazing job of making sure we understood everything every step of the way. Valarie is very professional and knowledgeable of her field. She had all the information we asked for on the towns, schools, neighborhood, etc. She was readily available for us be it through email, a call, or text and when she was not available because of her prior engagements, we were always able to communicate with her assistant Elana, who was also great. She also showed us what important details to look out for when viewing houses and explained how those details could affect us and were deal breakers. Valarie gave us recommendations on everything. When we didn't have an attorney or loan/mortgage company, she offered us one of her contacts. And when we were not satisfied with one of the recommendations, she went out of her way to find us someone else that ultimately was perfect for us. Everything flowed so easily with Valarie. We really felt she had our backs. She has become a long life friend. Ultimately, Valarie's knowledge and advice are what led us to the perfect home and her negotiation skills is what got us in the exact price range we were looking for to be in.
