"Everth was happy when we moved out the apartment. Everth said they would hire a cleaning person they knew to clean the apartment and asked us to pay $300 for cleaning. We asked whether the cleaning fee after moving out can be deducted from our security deposit. Everth said they didn't want to mix up. Everth said they would charge only a little bit from our deposit. We believed him and sent them $300 for cleaning. He texted "Awesome, Thank you!" (one week after we moved out). Then more than 30 days later, they sent a statement "total repair costs remedy unit damages $5857" without any receipt or detail. Please be careful."
"When I moved out, the manager, Everth, said they would charge a little from my security deposit($3700). They hired a cleaning staff to clean the apartment and asked me to pay $300 for my moving out. I asked whether the cleaning fee after my moving out could be deducted from my security deposit. They said they charge a little from my security deposit and want to separate the cleaning fee and my security deposit, I believed him and paid them $300. After more than 30 days of moving out, they took all my security deposit. I knew others are also suing the owner."
"We used to rent an old apartment which has poor condition from their office. We reported some issues like the following water tab. It was too old and rotted. We reported several times. They came four months later to fix it. Other issues remain unfixed for several months."
"One of there agents viewed my place with a client in which he was So detailed he even looked up my furniture online and mentioned how cheaply it was staged. Went through my closet and saw my sneakers and also mentioned and commented nasty stuff on the same. FYI ur a scum bag and so are your clients to go through peoples personal stuff this company has so many bad reviews no wonder people stay clear from ur agency"
"Sholom Engel is a dishonest conniving person, the company allows him to list properties for one price, but when you submit an offer they respond that they have a few offers at double the price. Yet they still have the land on the market a 2 weeks after I made my offer of full asking price. So far they had done this to 2 of the offers I sent them."
