"They no longer maintain machines , half the washers and half the dryers don’t work. Workers use too many of the leftover machines because the others don’t work. The employees are great the owners seem to have checked out. They also have help wanted signs up but don’t seem to care about non working machines or their customers, just the money. I won’t be using them anymore"

"If I could give this place NO stars, I would. The largest machine was $8! and the dryers are .25 for 5 minutes. That aside, this place was so filthy I dared not sit on any chair, as they were all covered in stains.There was so much visible filth on every surface of this place- on every washer and dryer too, including the floors and under everything. I was shocked to see this. No one has obviously cleaned this place in a LONG time. Childrens books piled up with an old cigarette thrown in between them. The whole place was so gross! Some machines were out of order, and some doors on the dryers wouldn't close. I went there to wash a very large blanket, never again. It must of cost me about $12 to wash and dry the blanket, and the dryer wasn't very effective. If you guys are going to charge so much, at least hire a cleaning crew once a month to clean the place! Or maybe instead of sitting outside smoking cigarettes, the employees should be cleaning."

"After a year of dropping my clothes off weekly and having several (I mean 7 items) returned with bleach spots on them I received a brand new Irish Knit sweater from Ireland returned the size of a two year olds. When I explained to the nasty worker there she did not even apologize and was very short somewhat nasty about it. Being in a rush to do my laundry for my work week I used a broken machine unbenouned to me. I was in a time crunch and instead of apologizing again the nasty employee was rude rather than apologetic. As she was yelling at me, the owner came out and was as rude as the help. The employee’s exact quite was “you always have a problem here”. As a business owner, I have never seen a more dysfunctional place in my life. I realized after the “other” problem I had was someone stole two bathmats one time that I washed. As for MATTITUCK LAUNDRY being in business for 25 years I think perhaps its time to buy new machines and find help with less of an attitude. I strongly recommend not using this place. HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND ALL BROKEN MACHINES."

"This laundromat is awful. I had to give it 1 star to give a review. I wish someone had given an honest review and I wouldn't have gone there. The washing machines cost aprrox $1- $3 more (depending on size of machine- small- large) than any other laundromat, and leave clothes dripping wet so in addition to already paying more to wash your clothes, you now have to spend more than you normally would to dry them. And good luck finding a dryer that actually works. Had to take wet clothes out of original dryer two and three times because the door wouldn't stay closed or dryer doesn't work. After pointing out the dryer problem to the attendant he didn't put a sign on broken dryers. I had to tell people some dryers don't work while folding my laundry. This laundromat is a rip off and I would not recommend this place to anyone."
