"I was headed to Greenport for the weekend for a wedding when my cooler leaked all in the back of my car... on the wedding dress! Upon arriving to the hotel, I called Hoppy's 10 minutes before they closed, and they assured me to bring it in to take a look. LIKE MAGIC this angel of a woman got the stain out AND called me in the morning to confirm it was ready for pick up so we could plan our day out. I couldnt of asked for more - she had this done in under 24 hours. Also want to mention the price was cheap and the location was right across the street from our hotel. 10/10 would recommend using this place - they were so sweet and understanding!"

"If I could give zero stars to this business, I would. I have been trying to support this dumpy looking business by bring them my rugs and coats and every single time I was disappointed. One time I brought a simple 6x4 rug for cleaning, i unwrapped it at home and it smelled musty, no sign of any cleaner. It was dirty the same way I brought it in, so I had to bring it back the second time. Imagine all the unnecessary work! Second time, a few years later, I brought in a large 8x12 woven light rug that had some stains on and after 4 weeks I picked it up, nicely wrapped up in a paper. They wanted to charge me $200 which is basically what the rug cost me, but after my shocked reaction they "only" asked me for $140. I paid. 3 days later as I wanted to put my rug back into the bedroom, I unwrapped it and discovered it hasn't even seen any cleaning!!! I was appalled as the rug had the same stains on, dirt from elsewhere and 2 giant bleach stains that looked like someone just poured a gallon of bleach on a rolled up rug and let it sit. After I called back to complain, they told me they cannot give me my money back unless I bring the rug back!!! Since I was leaving the following day for a year, i refused as I had no time to deal with the rug or them. The very rude lady (I suppose the owner) told me she will NOT give me any money back unless I bring the rug back!!! It's their policy. How about a new policy that if someone brings anything for cleaning, you actually CLEAN IT! I would not write this review if it happened just once but it seems to be their pattern and the way they do business. Do NOT use these "cleaners" if you don't wanna deal with the consequences. Also they take forever... why, if they don't do anything to the product, I don't know..."
