Islander Laundromat

"Clean and well maintained machines. I've been going for two months now and my only complaint is of an employee there. I work 11 hours and get out of work by 6pm so am there between 6:30pm-7pm. There is an older spanish lady there who turns away customers and chain smokes the whole time I am there while watching TV. She is very rude, rushes people, and has a terrible attitude. I've seen her make a woman so upset she was about to cry and I helped the woman get her laundry in because the employee was saying they close at 9pm meanwhile the time was 7:15pm giving the woman ample time to do her laundry. Every time I show up at 6:30 or 7:00 she tells me no one can use the machines and that the business closes at 9pm. I still go in and do my laundry and am out by 8:30 the latest proving she is costing this business owner a lot of money by rudely turning away customers. This location is the most convenient for me so I will still come and do my laundry regardless how many times the lady tells me how I won't be able to do laundry in time. She needs to be replaced ASAP if the owner wishes to make money and retain a good reputation."

"Edit: y'all can defend this place all you want but you should take pictures at the same angles i did instead of trying to make it look clean when it's not. With maybe the exception of the fans. Fact is when i walked in everything i posted was true and it shouldn't have taken a 1 star review for them to dust the fans. Reviews are definetly left by friends or family. This place is disgusting and a quarter of the machines dont even work. This place is just gross and shouldnt be allowed open. I dont think they have ever cleaned. This is wild. First and last time here. These pictures dont even cover how gross it is."

"Over All great place to do laundry. Workers and Bosses always greet you with a smile. Hard working woman who do amazing drop of service. A $1 a pound no one can beat that price and never had a problem. Place is cleaned, sometimes 2 or 3 machines are out but each and every time I return they are fixed. (Just like every laundry machines brake down) difference is that the boss is on top of it. They do promotions cards discounts which I’m on my 10th stamp and the prices of everything is freaking great especially with the inflation they never raised the prices. Coin machines is perfect because not always I want to put full money into a card. They ALWAYS HAVE CHANGE unlike some places. They have good business in the weekends because they are busy I prefer during the week to do my wash. It’s a small place and well kept together. Overall I've been coming here for years and prefer to drive a little longer just to get here instead of the laundry mat next to my house that is huge but not friendly, pricey and sometimes I question the people and my surroundings. I feel safe here and you don’t see no one begging for change or bothering you. Thank you guys for all you do ! See you next week !"

"Whoever said reviews are left by family is not telling the truth. I’m sure this place has many loyal costumers like myself. I have been going for the past year and have never been dissapointed. Many of the machines were out, yes, but the owners got them fixed within a few days. Now only 1 machine is out. The place is very clean. They have also been known to help the community as well. This is overall an amazing place and the staff is very friendly and the place is very well cleaned. Thank you to everyone who works there."
