"The owners are incredibly friendly, actually making an effort to learn every customer's name, which creates a real neighborhood feeling that is pretty unusual at a laundromat. (This stands in stark contrast to the chilly vibe at nearby Lost Sock, where employees treat customers like an enemy.) All machines are coin-operated, which is a nice contrast to the many laundromats who force customers to buy cards, which often fail. Overall, the store is kept very clean, and despite its small size, it never feels crowded."

"I have been living in Astoria for a long time and I love the neighborhood. There are many establishments so if one business does not appeal to me I can always find another. Once I found this laundromat there was no need to go elsewhere. The machines are clean and the owners are incredibly nice. Tina the owner, knows my name and we have many conversations. Laundry day no longer feels like a chore. To me it always feels like I’m visiting a friend."

From my first visit over 5 years ago, she has always remembered my name, asks how I am and does whatever she can to help (opens the door, lends me a handcart, calls me to let me know when the big machines are available, etc.). I don't love doing laundry but I do enjoy being around her pleasant spirit. Also, great prices for dry cleaning!"
