Montclair Laundry

"Montclair Laundry should re-categorize themselves as a strictly drop-off/pick-up service. This tiny space is taken up mostly by the machines. There is nowhere for customers to sit. Their 5:00 pm closing time is nothing short of a bad joke for those of us who work outside of our homes during the day and seek this service. On my last and final visit, it seemed as if most of the people using the machines work there. All of the machines except two (including the dryers) were taken by customers dropping off and/or picking up. There's nowhere to sit except by the door which was taken up by men who were performing services for the laundromat itself. A young lady "allowed" me to sit in the back after I asked for a chair while I waited. But the manager, I presume, later asked me to move because they were "working back there." (There was one young woman working in the area and more than enough room for me to sit.) This isn't a community laundromat this is a commercial laundry service that does not appear to cater to the community in which it is set up."

"There is one person who is very nice (maybe the owner?), and then the main person is just incredibly rude. Sign says 5PM, Google says 5PM, so why is it I get turned away at 430? She talks under her breath half the time, she didn't take check, even I was told that I could pay by check (because they still don't offer card????) and, honestly, it's expensive. I *understand* having high cost for good service, but it lacks basic things (like pay by card) and basic manners. I find this place really REALLY annoying and for someone who has no washer-dryer in my building, I think this might be the worst business in Montclair considering the realtive necessity. Thought about giving 2 stars because I really like the other woman, and I would be willing to put up with inconveniences for how nice she is; but since she is not there when I try and go, I have to deal with the other person and she is the worst, so it's just 1 star from me."

"The owner of the laundry matt needs to fire the attendent they have working there now, or give her a f-n time clock to punch ! The door and windows tells when they close, but when ghe hell do they open? Some days at 7am go online there it states 8am ...whether you go 7 or 8 the attendent opens whenever she there. Who supervises this chick????"

"I love this place. The laundry attendant is so sweet. She always speak and have lovley conversations with the customers while tending to their needs. Her daughter is just as attentive & go above and beyond for superb service. Dryers are still.25 for 10 min which you can't find anywhere. (&they get hot)"
