"I tried copying an old key at the hardware store twice and it didn't work either time. The kiosk key worked fine."
"I've used KeyMe for years now in multiple states for copying my apartment keys, work keys, etc. I was blow away today where I was able to clone my key-fob as well for my more modern apartment! I love KeyMe and would recommend them whenever you can. They've shipped custom keys to me, printed them on the spot and all of them have worked flawlessly."
"Glad you asked me about my experience. It was really bad: (a) machine was slow and finicky; (b) I made 7 keys - 4 on one lock and 3 on another. ALL 7 keys did not work; (c) they cost about $30 all together. When keys did not work, I went to a regular locksmith - who made my 7 keys in about 4 minutes, charged me less than $20 and ALL the keys they made worked. So not sure how my experience with your machine could have been less satisfactory and I would never use again. Thanks for asking."
"I used one of those key-making machines at Rite Aid. It cost $10+ which is much more expensive than my local hardware store, AND the key "teeth" came out very rough feeling so I have no idea if it's even going to work. I wish I had gone to the hardware store. The one positive is that you can possibly get a key made at Rite Aid after the hardware stores is closed. I just can't say yet whether the key I had made will work."
"Made a copy of a key in a different neighborhood, three years ago & saved the info for the key, just in case. Got locked out last week & was calling around trying to get someone to come by and rescue me before remembering KeyMe. Looked it up and sure enough there was a KeyMe booth nearby. $5 and a perfect copy. It works better than another copy I had made at the hardware store recently & got me inside early in the morning before any friends with copies could make it. Amazing!"
