At first I was very skeptical as a native New Yorker with a lot of experience with locksmiths. Andrew was my locksmith and he contacted me quickly, staying in touch with me the entire time until I made it back to my apartment from a Dr's appointment. The charge for this service was $125 or $150 but it was reduced to $90 since I was also hiring him (Key Me) to install a key code lock. The lock is beautiful and I am very happy with it. My only issue is, I feel the job was overly expensive. I paid $560 for the lock and service. Andrew was very courteous and professional. He went above and beyond to explain how to use the new lock & create codes. Con: If I could suggest one thing it would be for the locksmith to clean up behind themselves. He left a mess at my doorway (on the wood floors) with dust, debris, and parts from installing the lock. It only takes a second to ask for a broom - even if the customer says "no, it's okay I'll do it." It's the thought or acknowledgment of the mess that counts. I really didn't like that part. Still, I tipped him $20 for the effort. I recommend this company and Andrew. Thanks Andrew. Try to clean up behind yourself when working in people's homes in the future :-)"
