"What a racket. Called to schedule installation of a smart lock. They wouldn't give me a price (or even a range) over the phone. Locksmith arrived and said it would be $450 to template and install and an additional $200 for programming. Then when I rejected the quote, they started playing the whole "let me call my manager" and suddenly it was $350 but I no longer wanted to give them my business. Then my phone started ringing with multiple calls trying to get me to still move forward. Ended up called a local locksmith in Yonkers."

They come right out of the kiosk in moments unless you order a special key (personalized/not in stock) but even then it only took 3 days to receive in shipment. I also cut an extra key for free because I ordered 2."

"It was late, no hardware or home improvement store would be open at 10 pm on a Sunday and I needed to cut a set of keys for my daughter. I remembered seeing a Key Me in a local mall. It was in the lobby in front of a familiar store, so I went there.
