Reviews of CNS Heating & Cooling, Inc
"CNS Heating and Cooling has provided exceptional service, promptness and expertise whenever needed and every year since I have been a customer. I’m very pleased and highly recommend them. Jamie and Charlie are terrific professionals and they are also very courteous and attentive to their customers"
"Unreliable. Untrustworthy. Awful professional integrity. I am so disappointed in the this company. I've been using CNS for four years for repairs and service. Through that time I've had no complaints. They were responsive and did a good job. I had a leak in my air handler over the weekend which was dripping through the ceiling into my daughter's room. My wife couldn't get a hold of them (I was out of town) and had an external person come in and clean out the pipes to try and fix the issue without resolution. No problem so far. I called CNS first thing Monday morning and was informed that since I consulted another person the owner is no longer interested in working with me as a client and I should find another service provider. This all through the receptionist without even the decency to call back himself. I called back and asked the receptionist for the owner to call me directly to discuss. SILENCE. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and absolutely absurd position this company would take. I would never again recommend this company to anyone. Response to Owners Reply from Aug 7, 2024: Dear CNS: 1. I'm not sure on what basis you make your statements. A message was left over the weekend. If there was an error, these things happen. Certainly, this should not be a reason to dissolve a relationship if you missed a voicemail. 2. CNS has been servicing my equipment throughout, with the most recent being in 2023.Your statement is false. 3. "Multiple volatile encounters"? This is just bizarre, I am unsure how to even respond to this. And if this perceived on your end in any situation, why did Charlie not take the opportunity to pick up and call? If you think that a "simple phone interaction" where you fired a longtime client simply because they called someone else in an emergency does not constitute "your work" you should seriously question whether you should be in any service industry. Certainly it does not seem that CNS has any desire to be in business anymore and I would caution anyone who thought about working with you. I too, would like to wish you well in the future, but as a business... never in my life have I experienced such a bizarre and nonsensical end to a relationship."
"CNS was amazing! Every member of their team was professional and great to deal with. We love our new air conditioning system. We highly recommend CNS!"
"Extremely easy to work with CNS--I was able to text them pictures of my water tank and they were able to give me a fair estimate without me having to wait around for them to 'see the job first' --the techs were efficient and professional --I highly recommend them. They only use high quality brands."
"CREATES MORE PROBLEMS TO MAKE MORE MONEY: CNS Heating & Cooling, Inc was called out in summer to address my AC system not cooling. While at the end of the day, the AC was working, it was not until October when I went to turn my heat on that I realized my heat was not working. I went back to the original invoice from CNS where it explicitly says wiring was removed from the boiler and heat would not be working, stating I would need a follow up call (and charge) for my "fixed" system to work. Upon trying to call and get the issue resolved, I was borderline reprimanded by the office manager for "not knowing what I was talking about", even after they themselves read the invoice back to me stating "I should have known this because it was on the receipt". For reference I am a general contractor, so while I don't pretend to know more than the HVAC tech, I do know more than the average Joe and understand how to read wiring diagrams that clearly show a jumper needed. Attached photos where you can see the thermostat wiring (white cable) cut off at 3 of the 5 wires. There is currently no communication between my Thermostat and my boiler. So if you want your systems fixed without having to pay for their mistakes, don't call CNS. EDIT***: The purpose of my call was for CNS to fix their mistake. For the hours worth of work to reinstall the jumper that was removed (whether or not it was wired incorrectly in the first place), CNS would rather reply to the reviews trying to discredit me as a disgruntled customer by saying I should be paying for a follow up visit to fix the wire they removed."
